I cant' compare between these two. Fr me, games and movies, both are relieving. However, games are just an entertainment for me, whereas movies can be educative especially when I watch historical movies.

I am back on this forum after 3 years. I seem to have almost forgotten this amazing community. Recently, when I landed on the forum I was surprised to find my account there. If I has not saved my password on my browser, I would have never known I was a member here.
 

I believe women play games as much as men, however, some games are more liked by one gender than others. This is purely an interest based. I am a woman and I play a lot of games, I see a lot of women playing games.

Generally speaking, there are two extreme views in gaming journalism, one that is overtly supportive of the gaming industry and two extremely negative about gaming. Maybe I am wrong and the balanced view on the gaming industry also exist, however, I do not read a lot on gaming related news and articles.

I have no issues if you love it and I am glad you love it.

Mine is Mojang. It created Minecraft, one of the highest selling games in the entire history.

If you are mature and adult, gaming may not affect your behavior, however, gaming certainly has an adverse effect on kids and young people.  They lose interest in social interactions, they damage their eyes, and they start behaving oddly.
