  1. Currently, I play mainly on the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X from time to time. Previously, I have played on the PS1, PS2, Gameboy Advance SP, PSP, Xbox 360, and the PS4. Although my experience with the PS2 and the PSP was with my cousins devices and not ones that I owned myself.

  2. I always use the manual save function because I just don't trust the game to auto-save my progress. This is even more important in certain games where you will do certain things but they don't trigger the auto-save function. So any extra things you do after the last save is lost when you next play the game.

@Darth and I have previously said about teaming up to organise some kind of community game for Among Us..

Perhaps we could get VGR involved also, @DC?

That would be awesome especially if we could offer the different forum currencies as prizes for the users. It's been somewhat hard to organise it properly with just one community so would love to see all 3 come together.

  4. I like to think that I would play games for a long time especially as I have been gaming from such a young age. I guess it would be a little weird and unusual if I ever gave up gaming in the future. Hopefully, by then, we will have some intuitive new ways of playing games.

  5. I don't play many mobile games anymore so it's not as big an issue for me. My phone is pretty decent (Galaxy S20) so even if I did play a lot of games, I guess it shouldn't be a huge issue as the battery is pretty good. I did have issues with my old phones though when I used to play Clash of Clans a lot.

  6. It's definitely a game that is a lot better with people you know and can chat with (outside of the game). So if you ever get a chance to, definitely try it out with a group of your friends. It can be a lot more tactical as well since with random lobbies, people just vote for the first person that gets accused of being the imposter.

It seems to be available to run on steam in the past but it was later removed for some reasons I'm not aware of.

You can read more of it on Nvidia site.

That's a pretty old forum post and I believe the issue has been fixed now. If you check out their Games list on the GeForce Now site, you should be able to see a lot of games that are streamed using your Steam account which is a pretty good sign - https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce-now/games/

  8. Rockstar released the GTA trilogy trailer earlier today and I have to say, it looks pretty good. Vice City is definitely the one that I am looking forward to playing again especially with the modern controls and updated appearance. Can't wait to play it in November

  9. Not that much, to be honest. I've only ever purchased them from Amazon who have amazing customer service so if a problem like the thumbsticks drifting or the buttons becoming "sticky" appears, I just let them know and they'll use send a replacement. Managed to get an extra PS4 and PS5 controller that way which is quite nice.

That's interesting. It means that it can work with Steam since they run a streaming service?

Yes although I'm not sure if it works with all Steam games. So what I did was I purchased ETS 2 and ATS on Steam. I did it a while back so can't remember if this is correct but I believe you just login with your Steam account and you can then stream the games in your Steam library.

  11. I don't think it will die. Mobile gaming is very popular in a lot of countries because smartphones are pretty cheap (the basic ones anyway). That means, for the people that can't afford a PC to run games or a gaming console, mobiles are the only way to play some games.

I haven't really played the game even when I already purchased it. The story of my life when it comes to having an incredibly increasing backlog of games not yet opened.

I haven't touched it for a long time as well, to be fair. I tend to play it using GeForce Now because my laptop can't run it well enough and it's a bit annoying to set that up. There is a queue to stream the game every time you start GeForce Now which gets boring.

Since you are aiming to win your friend in the exhibition match via FUT or offline exhibition match, then you shouldn't care about the playing style.

Sorry, I'm not too sure what you mean by exhibition match in FUT. Do you mean the squad battle games? Other than that, the rest of the games tend to be against other players from around the world so playing style is pretty important.

GTA V on PS5 isn't any different from the one on PS4 outside of slightly improved graphics though...

They did mention loading times as well, to be fair but that's honestly an awful thing to try and sell. The game already loads up pretty quickly on the PlayStation 5 so it's not really a change within the game. Hopefully they unveil a few more changes soon

When it comes to FUT, you can simply play co-op online multiplayer game with your friend staying in a different location using your well built team.

Yeah, I've already done that a few times on FIFA 21 and FIFA 22. It's extremely fun to play alongside your friend and then to go up against someone in the different game modes. The only trouble is that sometimes it can be hard to play with each other when you both have different play styles.

Are you playing those forwards via FUT team or you're playing offline career mode?

Ultimate Mode. I haven't played the career mode in a long, long time because it just gets boring for me. The start of it is alright but it just gets boring playing against the computer AI every time.

Most of the gaming companies are just considering about the financial aspect alone, F2P is simply the way forward for them, which is destroying their games. Taking battle Royale into F2P by Ubisoft isn't a nice one if you ask me.

Very true. I'm worried that EA Sports are thinking of going down that route for the FIFA series as well which would not be good.

I can't believe companies are still developing battle royales, to be honest. They're just not as popular anymore as they used to be.

I really don't know how rockstar will implement your wish-list cos it's someone hard for them to adjust to it. You can simply ought not to go into mission, and simply running around in a particular level until you're satisfied.

It's pretty easy for them to implement it because they've already sort of done it with the Cayo Perico heist in GTA Online. It doesn't have to be total freedom but just a few more choices and giving us different options for every mission instead of forcing us to do it one way.
