You would find that amount of the AWS plugins being installed on system vs the vanilla cryengine install would take up painful space and setup is awful. lumberyard encourages you to make use of the AWS specific services in the game.

But that's the point - it's there own adaptation of the cryengine made to work specifically with AWS services which isn't anything revolutionary. Most studios have their own modified version of a specific game engine.

But as we keep saying, Amazon isn't doing anything amazing to establish itself in the Gaming industry so them calling Lumberyard "refreshing or revolutionary" when we haven't even seen it in action is typical deceitful marketing.
