StaceyPowers Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Is there a trend from gaming that was big in the past but hasn’t been for a long time that you would like to see come back?
The Blackangel Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Wholly original, unexpected, way out of left field games. Look at the wide variety of styles, designs, and plots that were available on the NES. Some games were so insane a mentally challenged monkey couldn't have come up with it. But they were successful. Devs need to get out of the sequel mindset, and take a fucking chance once in a while.

I don't really think that these developers can now be able to think outside sequel mindset because I believe it's the only thing they can think from now. They are out of ideas.
