Reality vs Adventure Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 I don't know about ps5, but my ps4 had some issues I had to send in and I remember talking to a Sony rep and said it is best to keep the ps4 in rest mode. Turning it on and off all the time wasn't good for the system. I can imagine the same rule applies to ps5. Maybe contact Sony chat support to ask.
