Do you believe in the existence of aliens?

Supernovas is what I mean. Without that, there wouldn't be much elements that is needed to create life.

Well that's not exactly true.  The elements that are central to organic life like Hydrogen, Oxygen, Carbon, Sulphur, Phosphorus and so on are elements created through the fusion reaction in normal stars.  These get distributed into space when a normal star expands, losses it's outer layers and becomes a white dwarf.  It's only the elements heavier than Iron such as Silver, Gold and Uranium that are created naturally in bigger events like Supernovae and these are much rarer generally aren't organic.

Supernovae spread out the lighter elements as well of course but it's only the heavier ones that are exclusive to that type of event.

That's a good point; I didn't even know about the fusion process that actually creates many of the elements. But a supernova releases all those elements like carbon, which is the backbone of all molecules in organic life. Plus oxygen and hydrogen; but would still need the right conditions to create water and usable oxygen, that is if aliens require it.
