StaceyPowers Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I am replaying the Minerva’s Den DLC in BioShock 2, and ran into the name “Brandon Pham” on a piece of paper that was being printed out by a machine. I looked it up and wasn’t surprised to find it was a developer’s name. It made me curious what other references to developer names have been spotted in various video games?
Boblee Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 I have never witnessed such things or better still I wasn't looking out for such but I can look into it and see where there have been other sightings.
Scorpion Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 That's a cool find! Many games include developer Easter eggs. References like this add a fun layer for fans to discover!
killamch89 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 That’s a great find. Developers sneaking their names into games is always fun to spot. One of my favorite examples is in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, where the ‘Notched Pickaxe’ is likely a reference to Markus ‘Notch’ Persson, the creator of Minecraft. Another is in Halo 3: ODST, where Bungie developers used their own faces for in-game posters. It’s a neat way for devs to leave a mark on their creations
