Kennysplash Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Binge gaming simply refers to playing for hours nonstop, say 4 hours and above. Most times when you are done you feel depleted of energy to do anything productive, and you just feel the need to not try it next time. But it can be inevitable when you have a favorite game, and you just can’t bring yourself to put down the controller. Have you ever binged on a game? Do you do it often?
Dismal_Bliss Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 I will binge game when I am sick with covid or the flu, since you can't go out and do anything, and you usually don't feel like doing anything anyway, lol. The last time I was sick I woke up at 10am and binged the same game till almost midnight.
Heatman Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 No, not anymore. It's what I used to do before when I had excess time at my disposal to play video games without stopping for hours. Right now, even the 24 hours in a day isn't enough for me. So if I'm playing video games, it's going to be snappy.
JennyorAlice Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 I might if I have several days off in a row or if I'm on vacation. It all depends on my days off from work and if I have to do stuff on my days off.

But we have all engaged in binge gaming at certain points of our lives.
Cpvr Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 No, not anymore. I used to binge game a lot, but now when I game, it’s only for quick sessions.

When I played Hogwarts Legacy last year, there was no such thing as a quick session. I played that game all day long on my day off because it was easy for me to loose track of time on my day off while playing that game.

As much as it is fun and enjoyable to play video games, there are always going to be things that are going to have the priority when it comes to getting your attention which is the reason why gaming will always come up as a backup.
Lens Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Back in the day, I’ve spent an entire day playing my favorite game and forget about food sometime. I've actually lost count of how many times I did this 🤣

It is when you have satisfied yourself that your eyes will open to reality.
Scorpion Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 I've definitely binged on games! Sometimes, I lose track of time while immersed in the world, but it feels worth it.
GameOn Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Yeah, I have been involved in some marathon gaming sessions too many times that I can't actually count. Immersive games like The Elder Scrolls V: I think Skyrim and The Witcher 3 have me hooked each time I play them.
