I have watched movies that have been just over and hour long and movies that are just over 3 hours.

I feel it depends on the kind of movie and how interesting the storyline is, for something that isn't very interesting but ends up being repetitive just to make the hours of the movie longer are movies I hate and can't sit and watch until the end.

I would say an hour and a half to two hours is an ideal length for a movie.

That's what I would've chosen as well - one and a half to two hours

I just feel that is the sweet spot for movies, it prevents the storyline from dragging and even becoming repetitive as well and it's a lot better to keep the viewer entertained and focused I feel.

An hour and a half to two hours is definitely the sweet spot for me too. Any longer and it starts to drag for me.
