Kennysplash Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 My dad never had the time for games while growing up, though there was little of it then too. But when I have a kid I want to have the experience of playing with them as they grow up. It can definitely make a good bonding time. Did you play games with your folks? Do you play with your kids?
Knight Barida Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 When I used to stay with my parents, they were people who never liked to see me playing games as they wish I had studied my books during my free time. This means that playing games with them was never going to happen at all.
Shagger Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 We need more games like KNACK for this very reason. For those who don't know of have forgotten, KNACK was a PS4 exclusive with a co-op mode designed pretty much specifically for a parent, uncle, aunt older sibling or whatever to play with a young child. PI played the game with my son who was around 5 at the time and had a blast.
Scorpion Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 I played games with my dad occasionally, but I’m definitely planning to bond with my kids through gaming someday!
killamch89 Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Yep. I used to play Duck Hunt and Super Mario brothers on the original Nintendo console when I was about 3 years old. That is what got me into gaming.
