Has anyone’s main POV preference changed over time?

I’ve always preferred and continue to prefer first person POV for most games. It got me wondering though, has anyone ever had a change in their main preference from first to third or vice versa?

I usually prefer third person, but after playing *DOOM*, I’ve started enjoying first-person POV more. The immersion feels fantastic!

It depends on the game for me. In games like Skyrim, I prefer third person POV while in FPS games and games like Dead By Daylight I love the FP POV.

Initially, I thought I preferred third-person view for action games, but after playing Half-Life 2, I switched to first-person. The immersive experience and the gameplay is what won me over.

That’s interesting. I’ve always preferred third-person because I like seeing my character interact with the world, but I can definitely see why first-person draws people in.

I play games in first-person, but after playing the Uncharted series, I started preferring third-person for action-adventure games.

While growing up, I played mostly third-person games, but after discovering the STALKER series, I immediately transitioned to first-person for FPS and survival games.
