StaceyPowers Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 I’ve always preferred and continue to prefer first person POV for most games. It got me wondering though, has anyone ever had a change in their main preference from first to third or vice versa?
Scorpion Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I usually prefer third person, but after playing *DOOM*, I’ve started enjoying first-person POV more. The immersion feels fantastic!
killamch89 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 It depends on the game for me. In games like Skyrim, I prefer third person POV while in FPS games and games like Dead By Daylight I love the FP POV.
Button Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Initially, I thought I preferred third-person view for action games, but after playing Half-Life 2, I switched to first-person. The immersive experience and the gameplay is what won me over.

I’ve always preferred third-person because I like seeing my character interact with the world, but I can definitely see why first-person draws people in.
GameOn Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 I play games in first-person, but after playing the Uncharted series, I started preferring third-person for action-adventure games.
Lens Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 While growing up, I played mostly third-person games, but after discovering the STALKER series, I immediately transitioned to first-person for FPS and survival games.
