Did you ever play/discover a game only after seeing its adaptation?

One of my friends only played/discovered TLOU after watching the show. I imagine that’s happening with Fallout now too. Anyone here ever only play/discover a game only after seeing its adaptation?

Yeah, that happened to me with The DOTA series. I watched the Netflix show first and then got curious about the game. It was pretty cool to see how the world expanded even more in the game after the show introduced me to the characters and story.

Which of the Classic Castlevania games did you like? My favorite is Castlevania Symphony Of The Night that came out on the PS1.

I played Dishonored after watching the animated web series. The stealth gameplay and the storyline really intrigued me, and the adaptation actually did justice to the original game.
