Knight Barida Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 Playing games online can be energy draining when you join some community where there is less judgement and players who have zero welcoming attitudes. When you join a toxic gaming community, do you match their aggressive attitudes, or do you leave?
Shortie Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 There have been a few times I have met with a toxic group of gamers who have been on my team in a video game but I wouldn't say it changes who I am when playing the game, if anything, I am often appalled at some of the things many of them say but it's something to expect in some games online. I wouldn't day that I leave, I stick it out and then leave to not be placed with the same people again.
Scorpion Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Toxic environments really drain the fun. I usually choose to leave rather than match aggression. Life’s too short for negativity!
killamch89 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Not at all. I'm not sure why but even in Toxic environments, I'm not all that bothered. I just start trolling a lot more to piss off a lot of the players.

Trying to address those issues will only makes things worst, that is why they must be avoided. Gaming should be fun, not stressful.
Button Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 An eye for an eye does not solve the problem at all. I will either avoid or block the negative players. I allow only the good vibes because life is short and negativity doesn’t suit anyone online.
Lens Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 If a community is toxic, I won’t be rude, but I will quit. There is no need to be drawn into an argument. Entertainment and fatigue are opposite each other, and gaming must not leave you exhausted emotionally.

Gaming shouldn't be toxic or involving a whole of fights. To me, it doesn't make any bit of sense at all. killamch89 1

Scorpion Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 In toxic gaming communities, I tend to disengage rather than match aggression. I'd rather seek positive spaces where kindness prevails.
