You know, the one you’d lose hours to and keep coming back to even after promising you’d take a break? What was it about the game that kept you hooked? Was it the gameplay, story, or something else entirely?

The Blackangel Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 The only two that come to mind for me is AOE2 and Diablo II. When I got those, it was like my hand was glued to my mouse. There just wasn’t enough hours in the day to play them. @Rain Dew actually told me to get off the computer because I’d been playing for something like 16 hours once. I was obsessed. Luckily I was able to survive.😋
killamch89 Posted January 30, 2025 Author Posted January 30, 2025 For me, I'd have to say AOE2 and Skyrim. I've been playing AOE2 since the early 2000s and I still can't help but play it at least occasionally.
