Worst Experience in an MMO?

What is the worst experience you've ever had an MMO? 

I could type a novel on this topic, but I won't. I'll just say, for me it was an old MUD with horrible microtransactions which essentially allowed one very wealthy player to "buy" domination over the whole game.

My typical story is that I keep getting into these games late and end up in some over leveled lobby where I spend much of my time getting killed or simply owned.

I actually believe that it's something that these game companies are looking for in any of their games with microtransactions.
