Knight Barida Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Tiktok is a social media platform where you can watch short videos on any area of life that interests you. There have been some who raised concerns about privacy on the app. Would you consider the platform safe, or are you the type that avoided making use of it?
Kennysplash Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Well I don’t use it, but it’s a great platform where people can actually earn money as a content creator. So I don’t have anything against it.

If you are able to understand how and what one can do, then I am willing to become very active on the app.
killamch89 Posted May 9, 2025 Posted May 9, 2025 While media focuses on government concerns, I'm troubled by TikTok's impact on creative originality and compensation. The platform's culture of remixing and trend participation means original creators rarely receive proper attribution or compensation when their content goes viral. This particularly impacts BIPOC creators whose trends are frequently appropriated without credit.
Shortie Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 I have used TikTok daily for entertainment purposes, to share my own content and also to promote things such as my websites and also video game content and I have not had any issues with it at all. In terms of privacy, I am cautious about how much information I give to TikTok so I don't have any worries when it comes to privacy. One concern I do have though is how badly the TikTok shop side of things is overshadowing the content people create and post on there.
