Knight Barida Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 It seems that the hype that comes with foldable phones is taking over, and that makes me wonder whether it is what we are going to see with Apple deciding to make one very soon. Is it in the works, or have you read in the news that they are putting it into consideration?
Kennysplash Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 iPhone has always not been the type that copies other people’s products. We already have other phones that make foldable phones already, they should not follow suit.
killamch89 Posted May 9, 2025 Posted May 9, 2025 The closed Apple ecosystem might actually deliver advantages for foldables through tight software-hardware integration. Current Android foldables still struggle with app continuity when transitioning between screens and managing different aspect ratios. Apple's control over both hardware and core software could potentially solve these user experience issues that continue to plague even mature Android foldables.
Shortie Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 I have a feeling that at some point, we will see Apple come out with their own foldable iPhone. I see a lot of people with foldable phones now and knowing how Apple works, if they believe it will sell, they will create it and sell it. I have seen some foldable phones in the past and they tend to crease the screen from what I have seen, so wouldn't be something I would purchase but I know many would.
