DylanC Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 What do you prefer if you had to choose? Historic war games (like COD: World at War, WW2 etc) or sci-fi games (like Dead Space, Alien: Infestation etc)?
Demon_skeith Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 Technically CoD is becoming sci-fi, but I would choose sci-fi games since they tend to be more fun.

Aye, you're right. I was more specifically talking about COD 5: World At War and COD: WW2 which are both focused on the second world war.
Yarik Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 I like war and medieval games so I'm going to choose historic games. But future themed video games are good for me too.
Alyxx Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 (edited) Sci-fi/cyberpunk is more my jam than historic. I always feel that with historic games the framework for the story is too rigid since you have to be true to what actually happened. Even if you take artistic liberties you are still somewhat restricted by what was available at the time technologically. With sci-fi/cyberpunk you are more free to experiment with what could happen and that is always more exciting to me. Also how dare you pose this question without including a poll?
