skyfire Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Yes and the ownership issue is definitely serious and something I am serious about. I think I support indie business in game, for that reason. Platforms like humble bundle and Itch are better for that reason. No DRM and No Cloud Locking.
killamch89 Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 I used to also pay for the Guild Wars 2 subscription back in the day as well (You got a LOT of content for the money) and the Guild wars were amazing. The rivalries were what made the game special because I was in a top PVP guild (you know what comes with such a reputation. People challenging you from all angles.). I don't mind paying a subscription fee for a game as long as it provides a lot of content at an extremely affordable price.
