Last Of Us 2 delayed until Spring of 2020

I thought that was the release date that was leaked earlier this year....

If I am not wrong IGN reported more than 9 games delayed to 2020 and 2021.

It was reported a couple of months back some time around or just after E3 that the Last Of US 2 would be out in 2020.

I think after the E3 I assume. But the amount of games being delayed part collective article posted by them was posted recently.

I think it has something do with the upcoming PS5 launch next Autumn because of the amount of preparation required which is why they may be delaying so many PS games.

Yeah but Sony was the one who confirmed the February 21st 2020 release date, But the delay is understandable.

If they see the PS5 delayed even further I wonder what they will say in such case for launching the game? maybe they could release as expected date.

All kinds of factors come into the launch date of a game including potential competitors launch popular games during the same time frame among other things.

Yeah plus the testing for that platform is another thing when it comes to updates.
