Kane99 Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 (edited) Does anyone here remember the NES game Gyromite? It came with the R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) that was only used towards two games, the previously mentioned Gyromite and a game called Stack-Up. Nothing else utilized this robot toy for the NES. But this is not about the R.O.B., it's about the game Gyromite. I actually have this game and remember playing it when I was a kid. I unfortunately did not have the ROB toy to use, but I figured out that you could use a second controller to open doors and do all the stuff ROB did. It was a lot harder to play this way, but I remember getting through some levels. I thought it was a blast though, and looking through images has brought that nostalgia back for me. I remember you couldn't jump or fall from a big height if I remember correctly. Idk, it's been probably 20 years since I last played it. Edited October 22, 2020 by Kane99
Reality vs Adventure Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Oh man!!! I loved that game. Nobody ever mentions it. I played it a lot a lifetime ago. The Earth flipped 30 times since I probably played it last. How in the world did you think of that one? The days of cracker jacks and bubble tape gum.
The Blackangel Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 I have it and just played it last week. It's not the easiest game if you don't have ROB or a second player. But it's still fun as hell.
