What are your favorite Castlevania characters

As a huge fan of the Castlevania series, there have always been characters that have really caught my attention since their original introduction in the series. My favorite characters are as follows:

• Soma Cruz – reincarnation of Dracula but isn’t evil
• Alucard – Son of Dracula. He’s extremely powerful and has some cool abilities
• Julius Belmont: One of the strongest Belmonts and he has incredible mastery of the whip.

What are your favorite Castlevania characters and why?

I have to agree on Alucard. He is a much more in-depth character than Richter or Simon. SOTN is towards the top of my list for favorite Castlevania games, if not number one.

The only gripe I had with this version of Alucard is that he never really wanted to fight Dracula directly but his abilities in SOTN were awesome. As a matter of fact, SOTN is the Castlevania game that really got me hooked to this series although I had played a few of the prior titles on the SNES.

There are few of them that I really liked. They are ;

Sonia Belmont ( Being the first Belmont to fight Dracula) 

Christopher Belmont ( His strength and courage) 

Juste Belmont (Ability to combine sub-weapons with magical tomes) 

Nathan Graves ( His magic spells and summoning) 

Reinhardt Schneider ( Because he fights with a whip and sword)
