I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he's probably talking about modern open-world games that you can explore like GTA V. RDR 2. I'd say that they have their place and do provide hours of enjoyment and some replayability. As for recommendations: GTA V, RDR 2, Red Dead Online (it's now a fully separate game and free to play!).

Exactly - it's a very vast set up of kinda games that a compound would make it hard to pick out. But generally, it's quite an interesting looking at what we have with most open world games.
