It got some heat back then because of the violence in the game, but it's relatively tame if you compare it to Manhunt or something similar. I never played the game myself, but I've watched a play-through of it. Do you think a new game could happen? The Punisher's whole gimmick, is to punish the bad guys, and I don't know if they'd allow a game like it today. If they do make it, I can see it getting some heat from people. What do you guys think?
killamch89 Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 I don't think they'd punish such a game because you have several games that follow that formula but it's how would you make it interesting. Add to that the usual skepticism for popular superhero/anti-hero games and whichever studio takes this on will definitely have an uphill battle on their hands.
