Fast ways you’ve discovered through tedious quests?

Has anyone found rapid shortcuts through quests you don’t like? For example, I discovered that I can run through Alduin’s Wall in Skyrim almost effortlessly if I approach from the river, curve up the mountain to the right, head inside, and bolt past the Forsworn to the puzzle room.

Personally, I don't really look out for shortcuts when trying to complete my quests. It makes me feel like I cheated which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

In Pickup Truck Racing for the PS2, I used to cut through the grass at some tracks.

Actually in racing games, you can't really eliminate completely going off track or through short cuts.

I usually don't do it, but in this case I did.

If you find it useful, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. At least it gives you an edge in the race.
