What is the most iconic PSP commercial or advertisement you remember?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Playstation
The most memorable PSP commercial for me is the one showing friends playing games together on the go, highlighting its portability and fun. It really made me want to get one and enjoy gaming anywhere, anytime. - Today

The kids here have probably never been in an actual arcade, so I’m not sure if they will comment or not. But for those of us who blew our entire paycheck playing Mortal Kombat, Asteroids, or Afterburner, we always had a game we ere just drawn to. Technically there were two that got the majority of my attention. The lesser one was Silent Scope. The game that I spent more time on than any other was Soul Calibur II. I was a badass with Kilik. The machine kept track of the 100 best players. It was grueling to place on that list. Before I got it for GameCube, I played so much that I get ranked in sixth place on the list. Another game I was good at was Dance Maniax. For those who have never heard of it, it's like DDR, but you use your hands over sensors instead. I liked it a LOT morw than DDR.

I first want it to be known that I’m not particularly educated on eSports. That said, is there any kind of league where it's one person against one person instead of team vs team? It doesn't have to be limited to fighting games like Mortal Kombat. If so, that may be a league I could watch and possibly not puke.

I'm most excited to get more detailed pics of black holes. If we could get a highres pic of a SMBH, I would be doing the Snoopy dance. Another thing I want to see is the death of a star, and see what it becomes after death. Neutron star, quasar, pulsar, black hole, none of the above, etc. I absolutely love astronomy, and my favorite aspects to study are star death and gas giant composition.

The last bow I had was a 61 pound dreaw weight, but had a featherlight breakover. So while it took a bit of power to initially draw the bow, it was really easy to hold that draw due to how light the breakover was.

It does take some practice and a bit of luck, but learning it is actually easier than you might think. Oddly enough, I've never been able to throw a knife.

Having grown up on a farm, I used a knife a billion times a day. Some days it actually felt like I had used it literally a billion times. It got to the point where just don't feel fully dressed without one. I still use it a lot, so it's not as if it's some kind of goofy fashion symbol.

Played some more Monster Hunter Wilds today and got our butts handed to us. Almost every Monster Hunt went left because other monsters started interfering. You'd think this was some kind of revenge of the monsters arc.

Smart stadiums and venues can leverage IoT for seamless event operations. How might RFID badges speed player check-in, or environmental sensors optimize lighting and temperature for peak performance? Could beacons deliver real-time stats to fans’ devices, and smart cameras adjust angles based on audience focus.
-
When schools launch esports teams, does it build camaraderie like traditional sports? Have you seen campuses better integrate gamers into broader student life - cross-club events, charity streams, or interscholastic leagues? What impact do these clubs have on school pride, student engagement, or career pathways?
-
From heart-rate monitors to posture trackers, smart wearables can offer data-driven insights to pro players. How could wristbands, smart shirts, or EEG headsets improve reaction times, stress management, or practice efficiency? Have you used any devices in your own regimen? What metrics matter most - GSR, muscle fatigue, or neural patterns?

Museums worldwide are blending heritage with interactive gaming. Have you visited exhibits where you can play a digital recreation of a landmark title, or where classic cabinets teach cultural history? Which installations stood out - audio-visual overlays, motion-capture demos, or steampunk reimaginings? How do these exhibits balance preservation with hands-on fun?

Picture classic cabinets that show each player’s high scores, badges, or virtual trophies on a front-facing LCD. Would seeing your emblem spark more competition? How about seasonal leaderboards, live challenges, or AR integration via phone? Could this revive foot traffic by broadcasting achievements to passersby?
