What dismantled developers do you wish would be back in business?

I totally agree with you on DSI — those early racing games had a charm that’s hard to find today. And Eden Games… Porsche Unleashed was just chef’s kiss, really wish they’d keep making stuff like that instead of letting new studios take over the franchises. Westwood will always have a special place in my heart. I still pop in Red Alert 2 every now and then, the balance and the music… pure gold. Novalogic is an interesting one — I loved the voxel tech at the time, it felt like stepping into a whole new level of simulation. And yeah, once 3D accelerators came along, things moved so fast. Digital Illusions’ original work is so underrated. I feel like people forget that they weren’t always just another EA factory. Those early Battlefield prototypes had some real innovation behind them. -

Yes, the development of AI really opens up new horizons for video games. The ability to make NPCs more alive and responsive to the player greatly increases immersion in the game. Mods like the one for Skyrim show how quickly technology is advancing. It is interesting that even small projects like Origins or Vaudeville are experimenting with integrating AI to create unique gaming experiences. I can’t wait for such technologies to become widespread and appear in major releases - it will definitely change the idea of interacting with the game world.

I see a lot of old games like Doom in the Microsoft store so will these games play on my ryzen 9-9900X and if not how can I tell what games will play and what games won't?
