  1. My method of cleaning keyboards involves using compressed air to remove any dust and debris from between the keys. I then use a disinfecting wipe to clean the surface of the keys and the surrounding area. Its really effective!

I am so sorry for your loss. I do hope that you mum gets a great send off with her funeral. It is never easy to lose a loved one and especially someone as close as your mother. Thoughts are with you and your family at this time. I will be catching up on some work today myself and getting things organized for the week ahead. I have a parents evening tomorrow as well as my shopping day so a busy day for me tomorrow.

  4. I have owned every Game Boy version, as well as random attachments like the Light Boy. I still play it to this day. But I played on a GBASP, since it can just be recharged instead of having to buy batteries all the damn time. I loved it as a kid, and love it now.

  5. When it comes to announcing any kind of release date, it would be a fool’s errand to actually put any real stock in whatever date they give. These days, everything in gaming gets bumped back at least twice. Many things get bumped back more than twice. For what it’s worth, a lot of gamers consider the Oled to be the “Switch 2” if you will. For my opinion, I honestly don’t know where they could really go from here. They have VR, and have released a hybrid system which is one of the most popular Nintendo devices ever. So if you ask me, they have kinda shot them selves in the foot.

  6. If you count PC as a console… Then yes! LOL because you can also emulate game consoles if you wanted. So there is thousands and thousands of games available.

  8. I enjoy both kinds of games. But I do tend to prefer Single-player story games, or co-op games that can add story to them. Horizon Zero Dawn & Forbidden West are my two favorite story-based games.

  9. I've never trusted 3rd party controllers, simply because they have never lasted. Within a month to two months it was trashcan filler. But after reading this, I would be willing to try it if I was to decide to get a third party. One nitpicky thing, is that to me it looks more like the PS5 controller than the PS4 controller. But that may just be me. It is really interesting to hear someone speaking positively about third party anything. That said, I can't say much else because, while I have seen a few things about it, I haven't used it. So I'm not allowed an opinion on performance. I've never owned a monkey, so I can't comment on their behaviour. Same thing. Either way, great review.

  12. I have become pretty burned out when it comes to Call of Duty. The last Call of Duty I really enjoyed was Black Ops 3 and after that, they just kind of became stale for me with nothing really new coming to the game. I have checked the trailer out for Modern Warfare 3 2023 and as much as it does look good, I can't help but feel as though it is again, something that isn't much new and just the same old. I may give it a try as I know my other half may be picking it up but it may be another game I miss again this year.

Thanks. I hope my family sees justice. They had no right to stop her treatment. Dialysis is vital for someone with renal failure. And my mum packed her things and left the hospice, to come home. So one day, nurses came one after the other and overdosed her on either fentanyl or tranquillisers. Then by not draining the excess fluid in her body that had been gathering up, this stupid negligence caused her stomach to swell up, and then the bodily toxins would have kicked in. And I'm sure that malpractice would have worsened her abdominal aortic aneurysm.

  15. Playing video games can actually help improve your memory skills. When you play games, you need to remember lots of important things like the rules, objectives, strategies, and even where certain things are located in the game. This constant exercise of your memory while gaming can actually make your memory better over time. Some games, like puzzles or strategy games, are designed to specifically challenge your memory and thinking abilities, which can ultimately help you remember things more easily. However, it's important to note that the impact on your memory may vary depending on the type of games you play and how long you play them for.

  16. If Mortal Kombat were transformed into an open-world game including different realms such as Earthrealm, Netherrealm, Outworld, and more, players would be able to enjoy a larger and more captivating gaming experience. They would have the liberty to freely wander through these realms, engage with their distinct environments, and come across a wide variety of characters and obstacles on their journey. This open-world concept has the potential to enhance the game's narrative depth, introduce new possibilities for storytelling, and provide players with a more fulfilling and exciting gameplay adventure.

  17. Yes! and since it has characters from Final Fantasy - I think that was their goal for it be semi-similar to having that group of friends that come together to fight darkness. It's a good theme and was great for me at a younger age.

  18. Are you strictly wanting sci-fi, or are you open to other genre's? I'm looking at my library and will list the ones that stick out to me most before posting my entire PS3/PS4 list. I'll post some trailers after that. That said, the main two from PS3 that stick out for me are Thief and Dante's Inferno. God Of War is a great series, but we all know what those games are like, so I don't think a trailer is necessary in any way. Which Infamous games have you played? From PS4, despite them being horror games, I would highly recommend you check out the Dark Pictures Anthology. Little Hope and Man Of Medan are my two favorites in the franchise. Actually, I recommend everyone check them out. But then if you want only sci-fi, you could start out looking at Star Wars just as a jumping off point, and consider games that leads you to. 19. Muscle memory is a very real thing in gaming I will admit. There have been many times when I have come away from a game for a while and as soon as I go back on it, it's like I never stopped playing it and my game play and what buttons and such I need to hit and use tend to come back to me naturally. Muscle memory really is a great thing which I do believe can also help with memory skills which are very important through life and as we get older.

  20. I feel that what @Reality vs Adventure has described is muscle memory and getting to know game controls. As for weather gaming can help with memory issues, I can see it, but I don't know for sure. And even if if does, I doubt it's a better alternative to reading and metal exercise.

  21. I am a firm believer that it does help sharpen your memory skills. I believe any game you play can help with your memory skills as every game takes some kind of remembering whether it be a strategy that you need to remember or memorize or even something you did to get past a level in a game, it all adds up and helps with your memory skills.

  22. It definitely does help sharpen your memory skills although you'll probably see the most noticeable improvement in people who play games that require you to use some brainpower to solve puzzles/challenges.

My mother's funeral is on Wednesday. After that, I will have to think things through carefully. It's gonna be hard not having my mum around any longer.

  24. Sadly, I lost my mother on the 9th. My family are going to file a lawsuit. The paramedics who attended to her at home stated that nurses had overdosed her on drugs. The NHS in the UK is just an utter disgrace now, and so not trustworthy. To make matters worse, the buggers are harassing my sister at the home, seemingly to retrieve a log book with a record of her medication because they know they messed up, big style. Unfortunately, as my mother lay in hospital, she couldn't receive dialysis again. She was also frail and unresponsive. They also signed her off from dialysis too, which she never agreed to, but the staff from the hospice intervened. My uncle and siblings attended to pay their respects. The 9th was also my sister's birthday. I have two sisters with the same birthday, but they were born in separate years. So, yeah. That certainly sucked. The funeral is planned for next week. Going to be a celebration of the life of the most wonderful person in my world, with an obituary, music and no black clothes allowed. Mum was a person of colour, after all. She wasn't a fan of dreary things. But yeah. It's sad how you cannot even depend on these health specialists. Rest in peace, mum. ❤️
