Ghosts of Tabor is another extraction survival shooter, with VR FPS PV and PVE modes. The developers say it's inspired by games like Escape from Tarkov and DayZ. You have use resources to survive, there's crafting, and scavenging/looting, etc. It looks fun enough, but I don't know if it's something for me. Is this game something you'd play? More info on the game can be found here: https://ghostsoftabor.com/ It looks to be out now on Steam and Meta. Steam - https://store.steampowered.com/app/1957780/Ghosts_of_Tabor/ Meta - https://www.meta.com/experiences/ghosts-of-tabor/7614022262006379/

With a lot of Xbox's own games are releasing on PlayStation and Nintendo consoles. The new Indiana Jones game dropped on PS5 recently and is massively popular on the platform. They are getting the upcoming Gears of War remaster and who knows what else Xbox will be porting to other platforms. And if the rumors of Gamepass getting put on other platforms, what is even the point in buying an Xbox console? I am considering buying a PS5 at some point, since if Xbox games are releasing on the platform, and if Gamepass gets added, it will be the best option imo. What do you think though? I've yet to get any of the new consoles, but if there is a chance of all Xbox games releasing on other platforms, I see no need for an Xbox and I could either get a Switch 2 or PS5. This way you'd also get all the PlayStation exclusives. Do you think Microsoft moving in this direction is a good idea? I suppose they could easily survive off of gamepass and could become a new Steam/Epic games style of service. That's what I see it turning into at some point. Just a gamepass service that can work on some platforms.

Revenge Of The Savage Planet is a new action adventure sci-fi game from Raccoon Logic Studios Inc. It's a sequel to the popular game Journey to the Savage Planet. So if you're a fan of that game, you should easily get into this one. The cool thing is that it comes out May 8th for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Seems to be skipping out of a Switch and Xbox One release though.

Gears of War: Reloaded is a new remaster that was built from the ground up. And not only is it coming out for Xbox consoles, it's also releasing for the PS5. And it comes out August 26th. No news on whether it will release on the Switch 2, but maybe down the line we'll see a Switch 2 release. For now it looks to be Xbox and PS5, with a PC release likely as well. An announcement was posted on the PlayStation twitter page as well:

These are just rumors, so don't expect this to be true. I am having a hard time beliving it, but have hopes we're actually getting a Half-Life 3. I'm still dreaming, but maybe that dream is here. Anyway, it's alleged that Half-Life 3 is currently being playtested, with a possible reveal happening in the summer sometime and may even see a winter release. Rumos also say it's playable from beginning to end, so sounds like it may be finished. I guess the rumor stems from a project called HLX, which is being playtested. Some think this to be the Half-Life sequel they've all been waiting for. You can find more on this news here: https://wccftech.com/half-life-3-playtested-summer-reveal/ But who knows if this will turn out to be true. I'm sure we've all heard numerous rumors throughout the years, and yet nothing has come to fruition just yet. But I will be keeping an eye out at game shows and events this summer for a reveal.

So it seems the tariffs in the US are really started to take hold, as Xbox consoles, controllers and even games are expected to go up by as much as 25%. It's being said that there will be an $80-$100 price increase on current gen Xbox consoles. So $80 increase for the Series S and $100 for Series X. I believe recently PS5 console prices also went up, so it seems we're going to be paying a premium for gaming for the time being. Unless this tariff nonsense ends soon, which I don't see happening. Are you worried pricing will continue to go up? Or could we see prices drop again in the near future? Sugardew Island is a new farm game from rokaplay, As if we need another farming game when there's so many out there right now. This one does look cozy like the description and trailer says. Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is a sequel to the popular Phantom Brave series that started out in the early 2000s. I never played the original game, but it seems to be popular. This one seems to be a direct sequel to the original game from back in 2004. It's currently available for the Switch, PS4, and PS5, and just released on PC last week. Check out the trailer below.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is an upcoming action adventure game where you play in the world of Game of Thrones. It looks like you work closely with Jon Snow himself. It looks like a decent enough action game. It releases May 21st 2025 for the PC (Steam & Epic Games), and mobile (android, iOS). Doesn't look like there is going to be a console version of the game. I guess it's already available on steam via early access. Has anyone played it yet? Is it worth checking out? I see the reviews on steam are mixed right now though. Will you be checking it out?

Rosewater is an upcoming western point & click adventure game from Grundislav Games with Francisco Gonzalez being the main developer of said studio. Gonzalez I guess is responsible for making point & click adventure games. This one seems quite appealing with its western setting. I'm not usually one for point and click games, but I think I'd give this one a try.

This is cool. I heard good things about the original Alien Vs Predator game on the Atari Jaguar. But now there is talks about a spiritual successor in the works called Xenomorph, which is being developed by the team at Athena Worlds. It seems that one of the original developers is back working on the project, that being Jane Whittaker. So this is great news for fans of the original AVP game. More on this news here: https://wccftech.com/xenomorph-a-spiritual-successor-to-alien-vs-predator-on-the-atari-jaguar-is-in-development-from-athena-worlds/
