  1. Has anyone played this yet? It's an amazing game! https://thedeadbeatcritics.com/2020/06/15/acclaimed-deck-building-roguelike-slay-the-spire-comes-to-ios/#
  2. The Dead Don’t Die - 4/10
  3. Would anyone else be down to see a remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy? https://thedeadbeatcritics.com/2020/06/09/the-mass-effect-trilogy-may-soon-be-getting-a-remaster/
  4. Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade - 8/10
  5. Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom - 9/10
  6. Nah, I've seen it many times before tbh. I'm just introducing my daughter to the Indiana Jones franchise. It's an absolute classic and a must-watch. Go check it out if you haven't already!
  7. As far as I know, it's definitely free in UK and US. Not sure about other regions. But yes, it's free - as long as you have an active PS Plus account. Maybe google it to make sure it's available in your region.
  8. Raiders Of The Lost Ark - 9/10
  9. COD: WWII as it's free on PS Plus right now. *yippee*
  10. Pretty cool news! Anyone else down to see a Borderlands movie? Or do you think it'll suck? https://thedeadbeatcritics.com/2020/05/29/eli-roths-borderlands-movie-casts-cate-blanchett-as-lilith/
  11. Slay The Spire, Heavy Rain, Call Of Duty: Warzone, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
  12. This is pretty nuts! Anyone else loving Call Of Duty: Warzone? https://thedeadbeatcritics.com/2020/05/22/call-of-duty-warzone-tries-to-nerf-rpgs-actually-makes-them-more-powerful/
  13. I think that's why I like it so much. It's still got that high-octane buttery smooth moment-to-moment gameplay, but yeah, it's a little slower paced than Black Ops 4 etc. Loving Warzone atm. Kind of like the "new zombies".
  14. Funnily enough, I had a similar problem with space on my 500gb PS4. Ended up deleting the full game of Modern Warfare and just downloading Warzone. It took a while but it saves me about 50gb of space doing it that way. The full version of Modern Warfare is like ~200gb. It’s crazy big!
  15. Oh, and forgot to mention I just finally beat Doom (2016). Great game!
  16. Any fans of Alan Wake here? This is pretty good news: https://thedeadbeatcritics.com/2020/05/15/alan-wake-is-heading-to-xbox-one-and-pc-game-pass-next-week/
  17. Have you checked out Call of Duty: Warzone yet? It's free and pretty damn amazing!
  18. Heavy Rain, Call Of Duty: Warzone, Slay The Spire and Dungeon Travelers 2 on PS Vita
  19. Really interesting topic @StaceyPowers! I find that 2D games like Super Mario, Super Metroid, Castlevania etc. have all aged incredibly well. I think that 2D games of this ilk will likely forever have an audience/appeal. They're just timeless, you know. On the other hand, 3D games from the PS1 era have aged arguably the worst. OG Silent Hill and Resident Evil look and play like relics from on older past (not saying you can't have fun with them - I'm still very fond of those games). They just seem clunkier when looked at through a modern lens. And I guess that's why they may be getting the remake treatments that they're getting, i.e. with Resident Evil with last year's excellent Resident Evil 2 remake and this year's Resident Evil 3 remake. And hopefully a remake of Silent Hill (which is rumoured to be in the works too).
  20. Probably Aliens Vs Predator (2010) as I’m a huge xenomorph fan and I love sci-fi horror stuff. Also, I like getting bang for my buck and that game is pretty incredible content-wise (3 SP campaigns, 7 MP modes, an offline survival mode!).
  21. Predator: Hunting Grounds and Slay The Spire
