  1. Who remembers this classic beat-em-up? It was first released in 1989 I believe. A gem of a game in the arcades, unfortunately the home ports on Super Nintendo came gimped and they removed 2 player co-op, and 1 of the 3 characters. However, on later versions of the game they re-added what was removed from the SNES version. It's still a great beat-em-up even with it's flaws. It's what caused Sega to make the Streets of Rage franchise, which is one of my favorites of all time. (SOR2 is easily one of the top 10 best games, period, fight me)

What do you think about Final Fight? did you play it back in the day?

  2. This seems like a kiddie hangout sim. I tried it to get a punch card for an achievement done, got 2 easy achievements just by leaving a room and going into another, but i really feel like it's a simplistic game for younger folks. I would say if you want easy achievements and to fluff your gamerscore, it's worth checking out.

  3. I just found this game on game pass today and it's super fun. You play as a spider as you try to traverse through stages by swinging on your web while avoiding obstacles and other hazards that could kill you. It's fun, but can be very tricky and difficult at times. A good game to keep your mind going and brain thinking on how to progress next!

If you have game pass, I would recommend giving it a try if you own an Xbox Series S or X console!

  4. Does anyone play Fall Guys here?  I think it's kinda mindless fun to pass the time. It's a fun & passive way to get achievements/trophies too if you're into that sort of thing with a somewhat competitive edge.  I wouldn't recommend it for friends & family game night though! Might end some relationships 😛

  5. It's hard to say for sure. The Switch being a hybrid, I think they kinda have both handheld and home console covered with just the Switch, it would be counter-productive to have say another 3DS or gameboy come out to compete with the Switch. Sega did this in the past with the Nomad and Game Gear and it hurt them in the long run. I don't see Nintendo putting out another handheld right now, at least not until the Switch is no longer their focus.

  6. I purchase stuff from the PSN store yes, Not as much today as I did when I owned a PS3. Back then i'd buy a lot of PSone classics among other games, and use them on both PS3 and PSP/Vita when it came out. I really liked that and wish they'd bring back PS1 game support properly on PS5 but so far, no dice.

  7. Are trophies important to you? Do you try to go for platinum trophies? If a game is good and really engaging I always try to go for the platinum. If it's a game that's not the greatest with it's gameplay, I just try to get as many trophies as I can before calling it quits after the game has been completed.  Do you trophy hunt?

  8. Do you achievement hunt on Xbox?  I try whenever there's incentive, like the weekly sets for points. I try to rack up as many microsoft rewards points as I can and try to get my games for free. Do you achievement hunt on xbox? Do you care about your gamer score at all?

  9. DId you have any consoles growing up that you wanted but never got as a kid?  For me, it was the Sega Saturn, my friends had one and i just loved the look and feel of the games on the Saturn, the 2D fighters were top-notch at the time and it was just such a cool looking console, being a Sega fan in the 90s, I naturally wanted one, but my parents never bought one for me. I did however, get a Dreamcast and that became my favorite console of all time, years later as an adult, I did manage to buy a Saturn on my own and I love it, but the Dreamcast is still my favorite Sega console.  Did you have any consoles you wanted as a kid but never got?

  10. In your opinion, which era was the best in gaming? 8-bit? 16-bit? 32-bit? 64-bit? Now?

For me, I would say probably the 16-bit era had the best & most memorable games. The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive & SNES is where I got my gaming start, so I might be a tad biased, but those games just hit different when you boot them up IMO.   Which was the best era for you?

Yeah I was hoping for a lot of games to make the cut, but licensing was a big hurdle that some just didn't want to deal with. I wish they'd finally make a new Tenchu. I remember enjoying Tenchu Z a bit, but wanted them to continue the franchise. I guess the recent Sekiro was conceived originally as a new Tenchu, so in a way it's still around. 🙂

I remember Stranglehold, got near the end, but couldn't beat one of the bosses so quit lol.

Yeah man, Stranglehold was so good. I might re-purchase it on GoG at some point.  I really want a proper new Tenchu game. Sekiro was close, but still didn't really scratch that Tenchu itch for me.  I'm still hopeful for a remake of the original 2 games tbh.

  12. I will always prefer physical copies. I like to feel like I have something tangible. A digital download doesn't make me feel like I actually OWN the game. I'll go physical every time if possible. The only downside is having the space to store all the physical games.

  13. Have you ever bought steam keys in bulk from places like Humble Bundle or Fanatical? Do you do this often?  I used to buy bundles from fanatical when I streamed to use for giveaways. I think it's a pretty affordable way to build up your steam library.

What are your thoughts on services like fanatical or humble bundle?

Yes, I was very disappointed when they announced they were cancelling the backwards compatibility program. So many people including I always hoped that maybe one day we would see Simpson Hit and Run and Simpsons Road Rage come to Xbox under the backwards compatibility program but unfortunately, we were disappointed when they cancelled any further plans to keep it going. I would have loved to see both of those games come back to Xbox again.

Yeah, same. I also wanted a few newer titles from the 360 back on it like Tenchu Z, John Woo's Stranglehold, to name a few.  Really upsetting they stopped supporting it.

I enjoyed Xenogears, but I can’t get into Xenosaga. I keep trying to push myself to finish Xenosaga 1, but it’s such a drag.

I feel like I just walk a few feet to unlock an unnecessarily long cutscene. You know it’s bad when they have save points between the cutscenes.

Yeah that's kinda how I felt with the Xenosaga games too. I only finished the 1st one then got halfway through the 2nd before calling it quits.

  16. Do you remember Game & Watch from Nintendo?  They brought them back in the form of a small handheld for Zelda and I believe Super Mario Bros.  What are your thoughts on these cheaper handhelds with a small amount of games on them? Do you own any? Do you think they're worth it?

I think the idea behind them is cool and i'd honestly love to see Sega put out something like that for the Genesis/32X/CD.

  17. When it comes to streaming or gaming peripherals such as capture devices or other things, which brand do you prefer? Elgato or Avermedia?  I've had some bad luck with Elgato so right now i'm using an Avermedia Capture device on my Xbox Series X, however, I would like to upgrade to something better from them in the near future, something that enables me to get HDR10 back on my console.  Which brand do you prefer? Elgato or Avermedia?

  18. My laptop is my daily driver, the battery is internal, unfortunately, but I do try to replace my whole laptop every 3 years or so with a protection plan.  The battery in this laptop is still good though. I've only had it for just over a year and a bit, but i always keep it plugged into power anyway so it doesn't matter much.

Idk I can't do touch controls for fps games. Just not my thing I guess. I tried both cod mobile and pubg mobile, and I couldn't get into it. I tried too. Both games worked fine on my old phone, which I was surprised by.

I definitely see your point. I want to get one of those controller attachments for my phone, but I want one i can use without the need of taking off my phone's case. I'm not sure if they make one that can be used while an otterbox defender case is on the phone.
