  1. How do you prefer to play older games such as Sega Dreamcast? Do you prefer to play them on original hardware? a modified console? or an emulation box?

For me, I prefer OG hardware or modified OG hardware whenever possible. I own multiple stock dreamcasts but i also now have one modded w/ some fixes & a GDEMU, so i was able to put the entire US library onto an SD card, now I have every dreamcast game ever released in the US all at my fingertips to play at a moment's notice.  Some of these modifications to original hardware really prolong the lifespan of the console.

  2. How do you handle running out of space for games in your collection? I've ran into this issue recently and I realized I no longer had the consoles for these games so i simply just tossed them  as there is no 3rd-party mom & pop shops around here that i'd be able to sell the to. This kinda sucks because I would've loved to have made something for close to 200 games for the 360 or PS3.

How do you handle lack of space in your game collection? Or how do you make more space for newer games?

  3. What do you think is in store for E3 2023? Are you excited it'll be returning in 2023? What are you hoping to see revealed at E3 2023?  I would love to actually be able to get there in person myself, but that's not in the cards at the moment.

What are you hoping for out of E3 2023?

This is a tough one for me as I have had a lot of consoles growing up and beyond that. I guess if I really had to choose one console out of all the consoles, I played to be the only console I played for the rest of my life, it would definitely have to be the Super Nintendo. I had way too much fun on that console with all the games I had, especially the Mario games that I had and given the chance, that would be the console I would stick with if it was the only one.

I loved my SNES. I still own a handful of games for it as I have a RetroN5....i should dig them out one rainy day and have a retro day of playing older titles from my childhood.

  5. If you had to guess, how many games in total do you own physical copies of?  For me? I'd say close to 2,500 between all consoles.  I would have waaaay more but unfortunately, I did get rid of a bunch of older games over the years that I regret 😞 It wasn't until my mid-teens that I started actively collecting consoles & games.  Are you a game collector? How many do you think you have in your collection?

  6. How do you organize your game collection?  I have a bunch and i mean a BUNCH of games and organizing them can be quite tricky. I just got some new furniture for my bedroom/office to help elevate this issue.  Now I have mosst of my Sega Dreamcast collection on a 'floating shelf' on the back wall near my nightstand, and I have my PS5, PS4 and Xbox games in a cabinet underneath my windowsill, with space for more.  The drawers I had these games in, are now nearly empty, so I might put clothes in them or simply reuse them for other game consoles.  We'll see.

  7. I'm excited to see what they show off this year. I'm hoping to see more from the upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake, or something new entirely. I'd like to see more of what Kojima is working on personally. It would also be cool to hear something about a new Metal Gear Solid title.

  8. Part of me wishes I kept all my old magazines. I had 3 subscriptions growing up. I had Next Generation Magazine, Playstation Magazine and Dreamcast Magazine, the latter two giving out demo discs often with their magazine issues. I really enjoyed those days and I wish I kept all of my magazine issues. Now it's hard to find physical magazines, especially ones from back in the day.

Eh probably not. Was never a big fan of the warzone side of COD. Always felt anxiety trying to play those battle royale games. I'd rather play the standard multiplayer modes in COD games if I do play. idk, I can play games like Fortnite, but Warzone, isn't for me.

Plus, the people who play warzone take it way too seriously.

This is pretty much how I feel. I feel like CoD as a whole has lost it's identity now. When people say "Oh i play CoD." They automatically assume Warzone, which should have never been the case. I feel BR's are a really annoying fad that's overstayed it's welcome in gaming, but that's just me.

  10. I've played a NES growing up, but the first one I owned was a SNES.  When I was a kid getting into gaming we had both a Sega Genesis & SNES. I leaned more towards Sega & the Genesis/MegaDrive though, but I still enjoyed classics like Super Mario World, Super Punchout & Chrono Trigger on the SNES.

  11. Do you feel like most Nintendo IP's cater to kids? Are you one of the types of gamers who prefers more serious and adult-oriented experiences in games seldom found on Nintendo consoles?  I don't mind games like Mario or Sonic, but I just find them to get too repetitive and I believe that's the main reason I don't own a Switch even in 2022 when it's been out for 5+ years now.

Do you feel Nintendo is just a bit TOO kid friendly and doesn't cater to adult gamers enough?

  12. Have you ever played Xenogears? Or it's sequels within the Xenosaga franchise?  I love Xenogears on the PS1. I managed to pick up a copy years ago for a decent price and it's one of my prized PS1 titles now. I enjoyed the first Xenosaga game as well and got halfway through part 2. I did own all of them at a time, however.

  13. Anyone play it yet? It's from the original developers of Dead Space. It looks super scary with very creepy atmospheres.  My brother picked it up yesterday. He says it's good. I've been reading reviews on it and honestly, I'm probably gonna wait. Dips in framerates seem to be a big issue right now, worse on PC than console though.  It does look like a very solid game and I would definitely consider picking it up after a price drop, most likely for my PS5.

  14. I think it had a very poor & rocky launch. They launched it when it clearly wasn't ready to be launched.  I don't know if i'd call any Halo game a 'failure', but it certainly hurt the game having such a rocky launch when the game should've been kept in the oven a few more months at best.
