  1. I was born, stitched together , sown ... just a mere Yellow Hat.. Cursed by this easily faded color, quickly damaged by greasy fingers... left in the closet 11 months a year until spring returned. As I faded... the darkness set and slowly changed me to a black hat I never forgot the abandonment.. Hopping head to head , thrift store to thrift store, homeless camp to shelter I would spread,,, spread my lice , coveting the scratching of all who wore me would endure. I believed in torture by kindness thus keeping their heads warm I would shed the unfathomable seed of itching sorrows..
  2. I spend a lot of time on the computer and during work I would love to have some anime playing in the background as it helps with creativity and relaxation >^.^< If you have anything with decent quality , english dubs, and no super bad lag I would appreciate it! Oh also recommendations as its been a while since I've watched any series! EOS
  3. Empire Of Sight

    UFC 278

Anyone else watching 278? Not going to ruin it but would be cool to recap with the boys after each fights over or after the cards finished ^.^ EOS
  4. I feel like that everytime I go from a AAA game to playing Oldschool Runescape, its like my brain doesn't really comprehend what it should be looking at but after a few hours the addiction begins to make it look like the most beautiful game ever created.
  5. Haha too nice, I think the name signature is a force of habit from work/ my oldschool runescape days xDDD Not sure I can use Ebay in the country I'm in but I'm sure theres one online somewhere here. I bought a switch but haven't played it all but a handful of times however a PS1 would probably be all consuming because the nostalgia.
  6. I had no idea they made more past the original trilogy :ooo thats awesome to hear. I was always curious how someone came up with a dragonfly chasing dragon who had to save the kingdom xD Normally dragons were the villains in games/ movies back then. Wait they have it on switch? I've had a switch for about a year and only used it a handful of times.. I think its time to go on a hunt. Well I did play alone most of the time and if I did play with friends it was normally on the 64 playing some 4 player games 😄 Would love to get my hands on a PS1 with some of the retro games though like the original GTA's, crash, and spyro. EOS
  7. Haha thanks for the breakdown of the social ecosystem 😄 Already enjoying the forum as well but I turned down the great offer of entering the political area <> cough<> Spyro op XD I think I've already found my way to the Youtube Channel Haha many years into this beautiful thing I like to call digital crack xD so yes a digital crack catalogue it is. LOL when you had to actually type a specific face to get the emojicon to appear and if you knew all the codes you were king of the chat room. I remember sneaking onto the computer late at night and joining my pops chat rooms acting like a grown man. It's actually where I learned the word tantalizing as well other useless words unless you're trying to be a fancy troll xD. I still use XD and ^.^ and people I meet always ask what it means especially here where I live in Asia... I'm like its clearly a cross eyed open mouthed smileeeeeeeeee. As the post below states the internet now is just forever scroll to find entertainment.. "Back in merrr dayy we had to go onto forums to find links to cool things to do, couldn't just google "how to burn 10 hours on the interweebnettttt" and be gifted unlimited dopamine xDDD Nah it was good times back then though glad I got to experience it as a kid. Oh probably 17 then so you're nearing 40 old laddddd. I did miss alot of the parts of the iceberg such as tumblr and 4chan, barely getting into reddit now but I wish I coulda experienced the trolls of 4chan at its peak. Thanks again everyone for the great welcomes and ice breakers ❤️ EOS
  8. Well generally if I play a MMORPG that can be AFKED like runescape then ill play that plus some sort of dungeon crawler like POE, but if its a console game I'll play it until its beaten to the point where a restart is required without playing another game. However some breaks for some fighting games is always nice mid day to freshen up the mind from grinding.
  9. Absolutely loving your review right now, it's going to be something I can put on while I work to just listen to and have some nostalgia! Might not even need to replay it after watching / listening. You are actually really good at reviewing you go into details I wouldn't expect such as voice overs etc. Ah I wasn't even thinking about legal positions over emulators, I doubt that would be an issue where I'm located right now , but the viruses more or less. I'll just use an older laptop if I decide to give it a run! Thanks again for the replies brother and great series! EOS
  10. Oh dragonfly after watching your video actually haha.. Wow it really has been 20 years.
  11. Thanks for clarifying which game the skateboard was in it'll help me find the one I want to play haha. Actually I do remember the cutscenes , now that you mention it I remember always having to watch the fairy. I'll check out your thread as well! I'm actually surprised people remember the game / went to replay it as many of my friends growing up didnt want to touch the game at all xD How safe is it to use an emulator anyway? Haven't really ever touched one before. EOS
  12. Haha I agree, there were some points in the game where it was almost impossible to get all the points or hop offer specific obstacles >.< Omg it just made me remember those old snowboard/biking extreme sports games where you could do like 20 backflips xD Yep it was the one from ESPN where you could rollerblade, snowboard, bike etc. Ahhh good memories those games were as well. Almost forgot about Gallop Racer! The horse game where you could bread and your horses aged after every season.. Oh wow that game was ahead of its time honestly.
  13. Would agree not the best of its era , Crash was one of my favorites as well, and I didnt know they remastered it 😮 I'll have to check it out Any games you remember from back then that you enjoyed?
  14. Haven't thought about this game title in years but after replying to a fest post it popped into my head xD Did anyone ever get addicted to this game back on the PS1? I remember spending countless days playing this over and over again, just the skateboard, the fairy and riding around with that awesome music kept my little undeveloped brain attached to the screen. Probably one of my favorite games of all time do to its humble nature. If you have any games that gave you a similar feeling please do share. EOS
  15. Would have to say missing that point of my life where I played the game, not just the game but the feeling around life when I was no lifing the game. Generally it comes from wanting to no life something such as PVM or PVP, generally already beat the end game of the games I played so starting over and playing a fresh character is what I crave. EOS
  16. I think I'll avoid making enemies this early on with the political chat XD Thanks will poke around and see what's up in the VG section , already smeshed some GG topics 😄 EOS
  17. It completely depends on the game and if the puzzle is similar to another puzzle in the game. Scenario #1 : Oldschool runescape has puzzles were you get rewards after such as clue scrolls, these can be annoying and stopping you from going back to PVM or other combat related tasks so I would generally use a plugin to quickrun them. Also the puzzle for a questline called Monkey Madness I would always pay the GP required to have it auto completed by an NPC do to speed running the quest. Scenario #2 : A dungeon in a gave where you need to place objects or pull levers to exit into a new area it would be much more interesting to see if you get the right combination as its a 1 off playthrough, wouldn't want to ruin the feels. Scenario #3 : Easter Eggs, I would hate to ruin easter egg locations or Mazes in general to get the content at the end. Seems to be a special part of the game that developers put in for the die hard fans who want to enjoy it or those who just stumble across the piece of content. EOS
  18. LOL, Well the Zombie game would annoy me too if I would get blasted with white noise during a game I was forced to lose, and I always felt being good at the game or getting lost in it gave me more self esteem? If it wasn't for games I probably wouldn't be where I am in live or have the imagination I have that carries me through difficult times. EOS
  19. I've seen Morgan Freeman mentioned but for the sake of it he would be awesome in a questline or wandering wise man. David Attenborough would come in as well, a weird one would be Jonah Hill as a random NPC who asks you to walk into the mountains for no reason other than to troll you, Will Ferrell , Keanu Reaves if he was a depressed rogue, Emma stone, and Laurence Fishburne. Probably a weird list but I bet it would be epic in specific situations xD EOS
  20. The last game I actually played for fun was probably Path Of Exiles Talisman League or some Oldschool Runescape, P.C based / browser . Def miss just diving into a game for weeks at a time until my brain finally accepted sunlight would do better than blue light XD EOS
  21. Haha thanks KP, Any direction I should head in for some good content :D? EOS
  22. Herro :D, You guys can call me EOS or Gabe, I've been digging around online trying to find some decent forums / conversations outside of Reddit , twitter, and happened to dig into the Google rabbit hole enough to find VGR. Hoping to have some good conversations and get to know fellow nerds like myself. Some things about myself to break the ice and hopefully connect are: Been a die hard gamer since before internet came on a disk and the only emojis in a chat room were of the "XD", "^.^", " :D", ":P" ":'(" style haha. The game I've spent the most time on has to be Runescape, started playing around 2004 on and off for about 17 years. Would say WoW , Diablo, Path of Exile, Dark Souls all follow behind but were equally as addicting in their own ways. In terms of none MMORPG's Spyro the Dragon, MegaMan, GTA < the PS1 and PS2 versions , Sims, Age of Empires, RollerCoasterTycoon dominated my gaming life before internet gaming took over. Chances are there's a few titles I've played that could be listed but the above are what shaped my preferences in gaming today. Would love to hear about anyone that wants to chat so feel free to say hello and break the ice with us ❤️ Hope everyone has a rocking weekend, EOS
