  1. From what I understand the game is still quite popular but it seems that the lack of updates or changes to the game are what is worrying players at the moment. I guess with EA and their track record of just letting games die off, that is what has got people worried in regards to Apex Legends. I myself love Apex Legends especially the arena mode but one thing I have always said and continue to say, I can never understand why they never brought back solo. Many people solo queue into duo's so there must be some interest in having solo back on the game I would have thought.
  2. I know what you mean, I am the same if I had the knowledge I would definitely give it a go for sure. I remember my brother telling me what software he used to make his game with his friends when he was in college but I for the life of me can not remember what it was called, I would have to ask him again when I next see him but he is on a busy schedule. I have a few ideas that I would love to make into a video game but without the knowledge they simply stay as ideas for the moment.
  3. Yeah, I feel it really is a game that you can play only when you are in the mood to if I am honest, at least that is how I see it nowadays, it's a game I can not force myself to play but can only play if the interest is there. Playing with friends does add to the fun though for sure!
  4. Forsakes was a great DLC for sure and it definitely did save Destiny 2 as you say. I remember it was when Forsaken was released that I went back to the game after a while and became hooked again but the same happened again once The Witch Queen was released as well, it brought me back to the game after taking a break from it. I know there is a new DLC coming out soon as well so I am excited to see that as well.

    The Wii U

Yes, I did own a Wii U before the Switch was launched but to be honest, even though we owned one, it didn't get used as much as we thought it would and after a while of it not being use, we ended up selling it. I am so glad that the Nintendo Switch is a lot more powerful and enjoyable to be honest and we tend to play the Nintendo Switch way more than we ever did the Wii U.
  6. Rocket League is a game I just could not get into when it was first released. I would struggle with the movement in the game and would eventually give up with it as I struggled so much I stopped having fun with it. It wasn't until someone told me I could turn on ball cam and it made it so much easier that I started having so much more fun with the game and I will now every so often jump on Rocket League as a change up of a game to play. Do you play Rocket League and did you know about the ball cam? Did you know about it straight away? I sure didn't but I am very thankful someone told me about it as it changed how I feel about the game.
  7. Many video games come with in game items that you can purchase and even though many don't help you out in the game at all and are merely just in game items, there are some games that you can purchase that do end up granting you an advantage in a game and because it is a paid in game item, it can make it unfair for those who are unable to purchase the item in question. What game do you think is the worst for pay to win?
  8. Destiny 2 went free to play a few years ago now but even though it went free to play, we still have to pay for things like DLC to be able to play certain parts of the base game. We have had quite a few DLC releases over the years before it went free to play and after it went free to play. Which DLC from Destiny 2 has been your favorite? For me I would definitely have to say The Witch Queen. I do still need to go back and finish off The Witch Queen campaign but from what I played before I stopped playing due to a hectic schedule I absolutely loved it.
  9. Ever since games like Fortnite started doing battle passes in their games, more and more games have followed in suit and now have a battle pass on their games. Rainbow Six Siege added a battle pass, Warzone added a battle pass and I believe you get battle passes now on the multiplayer sections on Call of Duty games as well, Apex Legends has a battle pass, Overwatch now has a battle pass and there are many other games that have also chosen to bring battle passes to their games. Do you feel that with how gaming and games are now, battle passes are just going to become the norm now for games?
  10. If I remember rightly Rainbow Six Siege was released in 2015 and it has been quite a popular title ever since it's release. My son has recently started playing it again on Xbox and I was quite surprised to see how popular it still is even after nearly 8 years since it's release. They do also seem to be updating the game still as well which I think is amazing. I remember I played Rainbow Six Siege back when it was released and then again a few years later but I haven't had the urge to play it again since. How long do you feel Rainbow Six Siege has left? Do you think with the updates still coming through like they are they may last quite a few more years?
  11. Dead by Daylight is a game that seems to be super popular and despite me trying it and playing it a little, I just could never get behind the hype of the game and I have not gone back to it since because I couldn't get interested in it enough. It really is a game you either love or just don't. Do you enjoy playing Dead by Daylight? What keeps you playing if you do enjoy it?
  12. As gamers we play many games and some of them can be fun to play but not addictive and you will also find a game that you play and it becomes too addictive. I myself used to play The Sims but I had to stop playing as I would get addicted to the game and would spend so many hours on the game without realizing and that would bug me especially if I had things that I needed to do and they ended up not getting done because I got addicted. Has there ever been a game you have stopped playing because it became too addictive? What game was it and have you risked going back to it at any point or just left it alone?
  13. GTA V will be 10 years old this year and that is quite a long time for a video game to still be quite busy and popular. Rockstar have definitely ensured that they released updates to keep the game fresh and enjoyable for their players and I feel that shows with how popular online is on this game. My eldest son started playing GTA V over Christmas again and he has been having a lot of fun with it and is quite surprised himself how much fun he is having even now the game is almost 10 years old. Do you still play GTA V now? What keeps you playing if you do still play?
  14. When it comes to video games and story related games, it can vary on how long you play the game for before you end up finishing the game. Some games can only be a few hours long whereas others could take a lot longer to complete at least one story play through. What is the longest story line game that you have ever played? Did you find the game kept you interested or did you struggle to get through the story due to the length?
  15. If there is something I have noticed over the last couple of years, it's how many video game developers that have chosen to take their games free to play and it has been quite a success for many. It started out that we saw games like PUBG and Fortnite as free to play games and then slowly we started seeing more developers releasing games that were free to play. Do you think that free online multiplayer games will become more frequent? Even developers like Activision have chosen to release their own Battle Royale that is free to play and we have also seen games like Paladins and Realm Royale which was re-released a few months ago after they closed down.
  16. When Destiny 2 was announced as going to be a free to play game, many were quite excited to see it go free to play but many were unaware that it would only be the base game that would go free to play and not the DLC, this led to confusion from many who thought that when it would go free to play, they would be able to play with their friends until they hit the roadblock where there friends would have DLC and they didn't. What are your thoughts on Destiny 2 being a free to play but needing to purchase the majority of the game as DLC?
  17. Paladins is a game that is similar to Overwatch in a way but with different characters. The game plays in a similar way to how Overwatch plays and before Overwatch went free to play, many would always refer to Paladins as a free version of Overwatch. I remember back in around 2018 - 2019 I would play Paladins a lot as a change to Overwatch when I was getting kind of burned out on it and I had a lot of fun on it. Do you play Paladins? What are your thoughts on it say compared to Overwatch?
  18. Even though I have played the multiplayer side of Halo Infinite I have not as of yet played the campaign and I have heard mixed things about the campaign from different people and it got me wondering if anyone here has played the Halo Infinite campaign and if it was what they expected? I have read some reviews as well and many have stated that it was exactly what the franchise needed.
  19. I have heard a lot of people talking about Apex Legends possibly ending up dying due to how many updates that EA tends to bring out and how much they still seem to be working on the game. I was talking to someone the other day that said they felt that Apex Legends may not have much longer left and may end up being left to die much like Titanfall 1 & 2 were by EA. What are your thoughts on Apex Legends? Do you feel that the game will be left to die out by EA or do you feel they will keep it going into the future? I personally love the arena mode on Apex Legends so I would hate to see the game die so soon but with EA's track record in the past, it is a possibility.
  20. With Harry Potter being so popular, it's not shock that we would also see Harry Potter video games come to consoles as well and we have had quite a few over the years which have been a lot of fun to play. Out of all the Happy Potter games that were released, which ones have you played and which were your favorite? I have played pretty much all of them myself including the Lego Harry Potter games and I honestly couldn't choose a favorite if I am honest as I enjoyed them all so much and being a big Harry Potter fan, all of them lived up to my expectations as well.
  21. We have seen many movies over the years be turned into video games from Goldeneye to Ghostbusters and even Home Alone and Michael Jackson's Moonwalker which are some of the ones I can think of off the top of my head. As much as we have had movies turned into video games, we also have movies that could have been video games but never were made into video games. If you could make any movie a video game, what movie would you choose?
  22. Again, just like with maps, we have seen a lot of weapons come to Call of Duty games over the years, many that we either love or hate or can just tolerate in the games. Of all the weapons that have been released in each Call of Duty game to date, which weapon would you say is your favorite? Why would you say this weapon is your favorite?
  23. We have seen so many Call of Duty maps over the years and many that have been updated or revamped for newer Call of Duty games and it is always guaranteed that anyone who has played Call of Duty will always have that one map that they just love and enjoy playing on any time it comes up in rotation. Of all the maps that have come to Call of Duty over the year, what would you say is your most favorite to date? For me I would have to say that my most favorite is Express. I loved that map and if I remember rightly it was brought back again in another Call of Duty game but I can't for the life of me remember which one it was.
  24. We all have that one video game that we love to go back to no matter how old it is that we can play over and over again and not get tired of it. It could be a game from our childhood or maybe a game that we played more recently. What game can you go back to over and over again and not get tired of? Like no matter how many times you have played through it you can still go back to it and enjoy it like it was your first time playing?
  25. So I a few months ago found out that TikTok has finally released their live stream program called TikTok Studio and it enables streamers to go live from their PC to TikTok so they are able to bring video game streams to TikTok. From what I understand it is a good way of getting established and people have had success streaming on TikTok playing their favorite video games. Unfortunately, due to me getting banned on my account where I had 3000 followers with no given reason at all and an 'issue' with my appeal button showing, I lost my access to be able to stream live on TikTok and I am slowly working my way back up there. Has anyone here used TikTok studio to live stream video game content to TikTok? How have you found it?
