I think it's just something contained to spinoff products.

EA has preyed on the casual market for years.

Being a complete psycho with a gun is fun. And going places I could never go to irl like space or fantasy realms.

My current job doesn't really allow it, kinda wish I had a job where I could sneak in some game time.

I wouldn't say I am loyal to any game franchise either, though there are some franchises where I collect all the games, even the bad ones.

In this case the game was already ruined and promised to be fixed and expanded upon, which they never did.

Yeah saw it coming. Anthem has been left in the dust like an abandoned baby since launch. And it's sad cause people like me who genuinely loved the game get robbed of the chance to see what more content they had in store.

I don't buy sports games, especially not EA ones. And this doesn't encourage me either.

These are hardly obscure though considering they are considered arcade classics.

I agree. Good graphics mean nothing if they don't aid the game. I usually value style over realism as well.

I've never really been the kind of gamer who does really long gaming sessions since I've always valued sleep a lot. But I did play Terraria for pretty much an entire day once with @kira1331 due to how engrossed in the game we got.

I wouldn't consider gaming a replacement for physical activity but for people with disability it does offer escapism and opportunities to do things they are incapable of.

Usually it's cause I have no friends to play with but I do play alot of Destiny 2 with my friends.

There have been some horror stories like Sakurai literally finishing Smash Bros. from his hospital bed. Not sure if that's due to company pressure or him being dedicated though.

For some reason I really miss the characters in The Longest Journey. I got really attached to that game.
