Smash Bros. Ultimate this morning and now I'm playing Ion Fury.

With portable games I tend to put them in storage boxes that I can bring with me.

I'd sneak all the time to play more violent games on my dad's computer. I remember I wasn't allowed to install anything so I ran stuff like Doom, Quake and Sin straight from the shareware CD's.

A LOT of gameplay. I never write a review unless I've played a game extensively or at the LEAST have played through the story.

I really hope it'll be co-op. This game seems perfect for it.

I enjoy realism in first person games yeah. Though what I enjoy even more is being able to see my own body in first person, that immerses me even more.

Usually it's when the game ends abruptly.

For me immersion depends entirely on the story and gameplay. First or third person view doesn't necessarily decide it for me.

I pretty much only review games I have an interest in since that helps me writing as in-depth as I can. If it's a game that isn't my cup of tea but is still a good game I'd probably be objective about it but I've never reviewed games professionally so I've always been able to pick what I want to review.

ODT on PC is a game I own in the box but it refuses to work on modern systems. Tempted to try and get it working on an older PC.

Ion Fury on PC

This is a very sensitive topic, but I feel personally that it's wrong to say that people wanting non-binary gender choices in games and more female heroes is due to SJW's. I feel it's progressive and shows that gaming is maturing enough to appeal to everyone. And developers and publishers do have to take into consideration all feedback they receive (to a degree) so that includes groups who are very vocal about cultural representation in gaming.

Yeah, I now own the entire franchise on Switch after they released Doom, Doom 2 and Doom 3 on there.

Incidentally, CD Projekt Red also owns GOG which arguably is the most consumer friendly platform in existence right now with its focus on DRM-free software and preservation of older games.

Nintendo I would say fits that category. They seem genuinely interested in not just making games, but creating experiences that enhance people's quality of life positively.

Having been a lifelong gamer, it's without a shadow of a doubt that games have formed who I am as a person and invariably influenced my choices in life. I'm not sure if it has helped me directly in any work situations but it certainly is something fun to look forward to when I'm off work.

If stealth is a mechanic I often combine stealth and melee since it's more silent than firing a gun.

Yeah you can easily skip on it and not miss anything...
