I've been considering getting an anti-fatigue mat to place under my desk where I game. Has anyone here tried using one? Does it actually make a noticeable difference in comfort or reduce fatigue during gaming?

I’ve been using my PC Gaming handheld (Steam Deck) mostly for gaming, but do any of you use productivity apps on yours? Whether it’s for note-taking, managing tasks, or even light work, I’d love to hear what apps you use and how well they run on the device.

Whether it's designing custom levels, creating unique characters, or modding a game, making your own content can add a whole new layer of fun and creativity. Have you ever tried your hand at it? What game was it, and what did you create? Was it for fun, to share with others, or something else entirely?

What Are Your Must-Have Components For Building Gaming PC?
killamch89 replied to GameOn's topic in PC
Definitely agree, but I’d add a good cooling solution to that list. A high-end graphics card and processor can overheat quickly without proper cooling, which can lead to thermal throttling. Plus, a quality PSU is key to making sure everything gets the power it needs without instability. Also, what do you think about the case itself? It’s often overlooked, but a well-ventilated and spacious case can improve airflow and give you more room for upgrades down the line. -
The PS2 was home to some incredible RPGs that shaped a generation of gamers. Whether it was the deep storylines, innovative gameplay, or unforgettable characters, there’s no shortage of standout titles. From Final Fantasy X to Persona 3, and Dragon Quest VIII to Kingdom Hearts, what’s your all-time favorite?

I remember the excitement around UMD movies for the PSP, but looking back, did anyone really feel like they were worth collecting? The portability was cool at first, but the small screen and limited movie selection didn’t seem to hold up long-term. Were UMD movies ever a good idea, or did they just feel like a gimmick? Anyone here have a UMD collection they still treasure or regret?

How do you feel about the Nintendo GameCube's impact on the early days of HD gaming? While not directly pushing for HD, the GameCube's impressive graphics for its time, like in titles such as Metroid Prime and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, showcased the potential for higher fidelity visuals in console gaming. Do you think it helped lay the groundwork for the HD era, or was it overshadowed by the PS2 and Xbox?

With so many recent Nintendo titles tapping into nostalgic elements, whether through remakes, sequels, or references to older games, how do you feel about this trend? Do you think it enhances the experience, or does it hold the company back from creating fresh, innovative content? How does nostalgia impact your enjoyment of their games today, especially if you're a longtime fan?

here are so many Pokémon games out there, but some get overlooked or forgotten. Whether it’s a unique feature, story, or gameplay element that didn’t get the attention it deserved, I’m curious to know: which Pokémon game do you feel was seriously underrated? Maybe it was a spin-off or one that didn’t get as much love as the main series.

The Wii had a ton of unique and underrated gems. With all the attention on remasters lately, what Wii game do you think deserves a remaster the most? Whether it’s for improved graphics, better controls, or just to bring it to a wider audience, what’s your pick?

If you could attend any Nintendo-themed event, what would it be? Whether it’s a Super Mario celebration, a Zelda-themed festival, or even a whole event dedicated to retro consoles like the NES or Game Boy, what would your dream Nintendo experience look like?

I was reminiscing about my first time playing an online game on Xbox Live and how mind-blowing it was. I jumped into Halo 2, and the experience of connecting with random players was a game-changer. The voice chat, the competitive matches - everything felt so new! Does anyone else have a memorable first experience with Xbox Live? What was the first game you played online and how did it compare to today’s multiplayer experiences?

With its extensive library of games and affordable subscription model, Xbox Game Pass makes it easy for players to jump into games without committing to full-price purchases. Do you think this has contributed to a shift towards more casual gaming? Does it lead to less attachment to individual titles or affect the way we experience games? Or is it just a great way to make gaming more accessible?

Xbox has been vocal about promoting inclusive and diverse gaming content, with a focus on making gaming accessible for all players. Whether it's through diverse character representation, inclusive storylines, or accessible features, Xbox seems committed to these values. How do you feel about their approach? Do you think they’re doing enough, or is there more they can do to foster inclusivity in the gaming community?

With the rise of digital gaming, Xbox has increasingly pushed for digital content with services like Game Pass and all-digital consoles like the Series S. Do you think this shift is too much? Are they neglecting physical media and the value it offers, like ownership and collecting? Or do you think this is just the future of gaming, and physical media is becoming obsolete?

Would it be easy to hack/mod an Xbox 360 now that support is mostly cut for it?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Xbox
I think there should be guides online on how to homebrew your older consoles. The XBox 360 was a pretty popular device so I don't doubt that there will be support for modding that console. -
Sony Bend New IP In-Development Screenshots Surface

Why am I not surprised. All Sony been doing is concentrating on Live-service and remastered games. This isn't sustainable. -

killamch89 replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
RTS games are excellent for teaching resource management and long-term strategic planning. Managing limited resources efficiently while balancing immediate and future needs is a skill that can be applied in fields like economics, project management, or even personal finances. It's a dynamic learning experience that challenges players to plan ahead while reacting to ever-changing situations. -
In what order did you play the StarCraft II campaigns?
killamch89 replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I started with Wings of Liberty, but I actually played Legacy of the Void next because I was really interested in the Protoss storyline. I circled back to Heart of the Swarm afterward. It’s such a great trilogy, and each campaign feels unique. -
Protoss for sure. I love their advanced technology and powerful units like the Colossus and Void Ray. Plus, their lore as a highly advanced but dwindling species is really fascinating.

Which heroes are your favorite in Warcraft III?
killamch89 replied to Heatman's topic in Gaming Forum
I’ve always loved the Blademaster. There's just something about Wind Walk and Critical Strike that made me feel like a ninja on the battlefield. Plus, I have fond memories of sneaking around the map, picking off enemy units, and stealing kills from my friends during LAN parties.
