m76 Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 What was the moment when you identified 100% with your character in the game and why? For me it was Abby in the last of us 2 on the skybridge level. I have a profound fear of falling off things, standing on the second step of a ladder is already terrifying to me unless I can hold on to something solid. So on that level I knew exactly what she would feel, so I had a very personal connection. It felt more real because I know how it feels IRL if you get what I mean. killamch89 and StaceyPowers 2
StaceyPowers Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 I've had little moments like that too that made me attach to a character. For me, it was the moment in BioShock Infinite when Booker first encounters a vigor. It was my first BioShock game, so my reaction was like "what the hell was that??" And the Booker said the exact same line in the same tone. After that, I was Booker.
Heatman Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 My moment in such occasions was when Frank Castle in The Punisher made a vow to avenge the death of his family because to me, it's family over any other thing.
