Would you rather watch a championship tournament in an arena or at home?

Let's say you had to pay to watch a championship game. Would you want to watch it in a hyped up arena or would you prefer watching it in the comfort of your own home? Personally I like the idea of cheering for my favourite team or player in an arena but I feel like at home I would be so comfortable and still get all the action.

Whether it be a sporting event, concert, play or even (in some cases at least) a movie, nothing beats the live experience.  It's not about getting all the action, information or watching the performance, It's about soaking in the atmosphere.  You just don't get that through watching on TV screen in your home.  Being there live makes you feel like a part of it.

 

The obvious drawback is that it takes more time, expense and planning to be there live.  Not to mention in the current situation it's not even possible in many cases.  Even before this shitstorm pandemic being at home is more comfortable and convenient.

I bet arena would be more fun as the emotions would be shared throughout a room, but now with Corona I think a lot of people are afraid of it.

Since the pandemic started early last year in my country, I've always been skeptic moving to the stadia to watch any live match. I simply prefer streaming live at the comfort of my home.

In my opinion, both options have merits because watching in an arena provides electric atmosphere, while home viewing offers comfort. It actually depends on personal preference.
