Series where you only like one game in it?

I was realizing the other day there are some Dragon Age fans who only seem to like Origins. Are there other series like that where a lot of people only seem to like one game in the series? Do you feel that way about any series?

This is a good one actually. There's Viewtiful Joe which I only knew about and played the original. It's just the other day I found out there was even a sequel.

I don't know if you've heard of the Twisted Metal series. 

I remember playing the first game on the PS1.  It's the only one in the series that I like is the first one.

That's a great point because I have seen several series where fans tend to favor one game over the others. One example is, some people only love the first Diablo game, while others prefer the Diablo II. L

*Mass Effect* often sees fans only favoring the first game. I enjoy the whole series, but many prefer the original.
