Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for PC and PS5 Leaked by ESRB

It looks like we're going to be getting a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster sometime soon, as the ESRB recently leaked the news of a PC and PS5 release. There of course is no mention of a release date, but I'd assume sometime in 2025 or early 2026 if we're lucky. Not sure we really need a remaster of an already beautiful game, but we've been seeing this for years with the likes of The Last of Us and other games getting remastered a couple times over. 

Will you be getting this remastered version?

I'm not. The original games are already and Steam and it's not like both games are extremely old and require a remastered version either. Sony is getting real lazy over the past few years.

A Horizon Zero Dawn remaster could bring enhanced performance, ray tracing, and improved graphics as well. I think the PC version might benefit the most.

You will find few people who are a bigger fan of these games than me, but even I have to agree.  It would be nice to see the dialoge scenes in the original redone to be more like HFW and possibly some of the gameplay changes as well, like the mele combat, but overall I just don't think it's necessary.  It's too soon and the world does not need this.

Remasters can definitely introduce the new players to the series and provide a more polished experience as well. It's a good development for games.
