What do you all think? Victor Boniface isn't happy about that because he was the one they wanted to sign initially but the talk crashed down.
Ja sa bong Posted February 18, 2025 Posted February 18, 2025 Arsenal manager Arteta is talking about getting players in free market to help them round off their season. He talked about chances of getting Deigo Costa.

They are going to wait till Summer transfer window to open.
Knight Barida Posted March 13, 2025 Posted March 13, 2025 M. Salah has not yet put pen to paper in signing a new contract at Liverpool. With Liverpool being knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid and with his age, do you think an agreement would be reached for him to sign a new contract at the club?
killamch89 Posted March 14, 2025 Posted March 14, 2025 I don't think so. As a matter of fact, out of all three who are out of contract in the summer, I think only Van Djik might just stay but Salah and Trent are likely to leave.
Heatman Posted March 26, 2025 Posted March 26, 2025 Nope, I don't think he's going sign a new contract with Liverpool and Real Madrid is definitely not coming for him. He might end up in Saudi Arabia. Trent's move to Real Madrid is almost done!!
Ja sa bong Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 How useless is Sancho? Chelsea is closely considering paying a fine of £5M to have him returned to Manchester United. What a shame!! Heatman 1
killamch89 Posted April 3, 2025 Posted April 3, 2025 I don't think so. The only one who might stay is Virgil.

There are serious talks that Trent will be on his way to Real Madrid. If he is going to leave, that will be a major loss to the club as he's been with them for many years now.

I'm a Manchester United fan but what's happening to Sancho gives me joy because it vindicates all the managers he throw under the bus. Where do you think Rashford is going to play next season? He's not going to play for Manchester United, that's for sure and Aston Villa can't sign him on a permanent deal cos they can't pay him.

Rashford is currently injured. He's expected to miss rest of season with hamstring injury. I can't say for sure where he's going to be playing next season but I heard he's eyeing Barcelona move.
Ja sa bong Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 Mohamed Salah have already signed a two-year contract with Liverpool. His basic weekly salary the new contract offers is around £400,000. Currently, Salah is the highest-paid player in the club’s history.

I read about Van Dijk signing his new contract but not about Mohamed Salah. If he has put pen to paper, I will say that most Liverpool fans would be very happy about the development, not going to lie.
Shagger Posted May 5, 2025 Author Posted May 5, 2025 (edited) ATTENTION VGR COMMUNITY! I call the attention of @Ja sa bong, @Knight Baridaand @Heatman especially, but I ask that everyone please take notice. I have just locked (and may continue to lock) several threads that have recently been posted on the Sports sub-forum. I have locked them because they discuss transfers, mostly football/soccer related. Wether they be factual, speculative, rumours or discussion on "who should transfer whare", they can all be classed as discussion on transfers. This post is polite reminder we have this pinned thread called "The Transfers Thread" for a reason. These threads on transfers limited to one specific sportsperson. We can't have a new thread for every player that transfers clubs, for example. If we allowed this, the sports sub-forum would flooded with hundreds of threads that are nothing but that. We just can't have that because if bumps down other discussions and is hoplessly impractical. Like I said, we have this thread for a reason. It's for you as much as anyone so you can find the latest discussion on these things in one, convenient place. Please stop posting new, individual threads on transfers. If this continues, we will have to consider more serious action for people who keep posting such threads. And to the members that I have mention, can you please like this post to indicate you have read and understood this. Edited May 5, 2025 by Shagger Ja sa bong and Heatman 2
Heatman Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 It's very clear that Manchester United need to replace so many players if they need to do better next season but it doesn't seem like they are making any serious moves in the transfer market while other teams are buying players. Manchester United can't rely on Rasmus as a striker because he's very useless but why aren't they going all out to buy an established striker?
