Alexander. Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I've sold my equipment before. I sold it in a shop known as CEX and they pay fair prices for your electronics you decide to sell. They pay instantly (CASH) or if you prefer Bank Transfer (BACS). Take a look to see how much your gaming setup is worth if you want to upgrade, that is.
Jerlene Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 That's a link for the UK? Do they only buy within the UK? For me, I only use Facebook to sell my things. If I'm doing it in person then I'll sell my stuff at garage sales and what not. I went to GameStop in the past to try and sell my games, consoles, etc. and they were way too cheap for my liking. They wanted to buy my Wii for $20, my Xbox for $80 and my PlayStation for $50. Those were the prices that I was quoted for not just the consoles, but the games and controllers too. No thank you! I do alright on Facebook though. The best part is I don't have to deal with shipping or anything.
DylanC Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Aye, I’ve used CEX to sell pieces of gaming hardware before and they’re pretty good. They pay fair prices and it doesn’t take too long to do either. Think I sold my PS VR there for about £180 a while back.
DarthHazard Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 I haven't sold any of my old gaming equipment or games really. I just don't like the prices that are offered because whenever I think of the price, I think I might as well just keep the game instead of getting such low amounts. For example, I bought Far Cry 5 for around £40-50. But when I wanted to sell it a while back, I was only offered around £11 from both Game and CEX so I just kept it instead.
UleTheVee Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 We have a CEX location in Mexico, surprisingly enough. They took over the Blockbuster that used to be in place.
