Alexander. Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 (edited) I have a question for all of the content creators at VGR Forums. No doubt about it, to edit and finalise a video you need an excessive amount of RAM to process the information. Personally, I have 8GB of Ram and this isn't enough for what I need it for. I'm considering to upgrade to 16 gigabytes as it's struggling to undertake editing processes, let alone have other tabs open in the background. What RAM do you have for editing and has anyone here ever experienced issues with rendering? What do you think I should do? Edited February 4, 2019 by xXInfectedXx
DylanC Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 (edited) I have 8gb of ram in my macbook air which is fine for me mainly because I mostly write and don’t do much video editing. If I was in your shoes, I’d definitely consider purchasing an extra 8gb ram to help you edit stuff. Ram is generally pretty cheap these days and easy to install IIRC. Edited February 4, 2019 by DylanC
