Rocket League

Who has played Rocket league before reading this topic? Describe the video game concept to me and why you enjoy playing it. Would you strongly advise other ther fellow gamers to purchase this computer game? If so, why?

I have played it on friends place. But honestly I'd not buy it unless I am fan of this genre badly. I avoided the purchase of the game for that specific reason. I think it's all about liking such type of the genre.

It is a very simple and fun game and they have quite a few game modes but the concept of the game is basically playing soccer with cars trying to knock the ball into the opponent's net as many times as possible.

Simple. Easy to understand. Easy to get into. Fun. High skill ceiling. No RNG. No car has an advantage. No microtransactions to give you an advantage.

I've heard about it, but never played it. It reminds me those type of games that you adore watching, but not playing. Don't know why. :P

It is kind of addictive and that is why I don't play it unless I have loads of time on my hands because I find myself playing it for 4 hours straight.

Indeed one of the addictive games. The reason why people spend like hours trying to clear the levels and have fun around. I think there are people who do play it even today with same excitement.
