The Points that Echelon made in this video are spot-on and I have brought up the same points in several other discussion on this forum. What do you think?

I think indie games suffer from the profit chasing mentality. And many solo developers are on android for that reason. I think streaming services gives exposure for free. Something Indie game studios need to understand.

The problem with google Stadia is that they don't have any way of preventing latency and in the event that their servers go down, you won't have access to your games so that is money wasted right there.

Yes stadia is meant for the rich gamers and the gamers who don't care about ownership. Something that indie game developers need to ignore.

Good point but going by their recent interview, the Google Stadia is a digital storefront where you pay a subscription fee to play games on any platform regardless of specs. The catch is that even after paying the subscription fee you have to buy the games but you don't own them. If Google Stadia shuts down, you will not have access to those games you purchased anymore which is definitely a deal-breaker for a lot of people.

I think people have gone beyond the feeling of ownership once they have enough money. After that they seem to get into the flow of the consumerism.

I am sure google will find a way out in case of indie games though. I am not sure how much damage is predicted in context of financial numbers.
