Kaynil Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 (edited) Hey guys, I was wondering what are some of the games you like to pop up into your devices when you are feeling frustrated and need to lower your levels of stress or frustration. For me a game I go to for that is Hyrule Warriors. I like making quick missions and just kills hordes of enemies. I think that really helps when I am frustrated. I just got recently introduced to Diablo III by a dear friend and boy, the game seems so much fun I had to buy it as soon as I saw it at a discounted price. I saw it and knew it could be another option to just kills stuff around, haha. If it is about trying to calm down then I try relaxing things like some farm life simulators such as Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. Anything no competitive and soothing. Specially if I am worrying and anxious. I think Breath of the Wild has also helped me with this. What about you guys? What kind of games do you like to play when you are feeling frustrated or stressed out? Edited February 10, 2020 by Kaynil
The Blackangel Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 I play Hatred. Blood, senseless murder, and gore. Men, women, and children are all on the chopping block to be brutally slayed as sadistically as I want. And if a game doesn't cut it, I get on the dark web and watch snuff films.
skyfire Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 I mostly go with action FPS like darsiders and DMC. Also these days MOBA and PVP games are perfect for getting the stress out. I don't think a lot of people find the same trigger stress.
StaceyPowers Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Quake II Arena is a mainstay for me with regard to this, particularly with the “blowing off steam” component. But I de-stress best with a chill open world game, i.e. Skyrim or Fallout.
skyfire Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Quake was like DOOM Eternal in those days. And it was a good to play that game for reducing stress. But now a days you have lot of battle royale games for reducing stress.
