  1. Well, my 20s were kinda meh (only a few things worth remembering from them), but my 30s have been pretty good so far - so, I hope I'll have clearer memories of them in 10 or 20 years' time ๐Ÿ™‚ !

  2. I'm 32... looks like I'm one of the older people here, going by the poll results (although I expect some of the "26-30" crowd have aged into the "31-35" bracket since they voted ๐Ÿ˜›)

  3. The Turing Test has quite a surprising ending. For most of the game, you play as a character called Ava, who solves puzzles under the watch of a GLaDOS-like entity called "T.O.M.". However, at the end of the game, control switches to T.O.M... and gives you the option of killing Ava and her companion Sarah, or doing nothing and allowing them to shut you down.

Was quite a shock when that happened in my game!

  4. Portal 2 was originally going to have no portals at all. Instead, it was going to use a game mechanic called "F-Stop", which would have involved taking pictures of the in-game world, and then using those pictures to create in-game objects.

The new mechanic received some positive feedback from playtesters - but everyone was disappointed with the absence of portals ๐Ÿ˜› .

  5. Not necessarily claustrophobic: indeed, when I'm swimming in an ocean in Minecraft, I feel quite the opposite ๐Ÿ˜› . But it is rather annoying... a lot of these games have controls that respond more slowly underwater; and a lot also have a breath meter, which just adds to the pressure.

I've lost count of the number of times I've drowned my poor characters ๐Ÿ˜ž !
