Mobile games that kill your phone fast is nothing new. I always remember complaining because Pokémon Go would drain my battery so fast, so much so, I would always need to carry my charger or a power bank around with me. I have noticed that for some games, they have gotten better at not draining your battery as quick but you do still get some games that eat your battery way to quickly. Which mobile games have you found drain your mobile battery the fastest?

I always remember when I first started playing mobile games many years ago now, the quality was never great and they felt so limited. Fast forward to now and mobile games are a lot better than they used to be and in some cases, you could say that some mobile games are catching up to console quality. What are your thoughts? Is mobile gaming finally catching up on console quality? Which game do you think is a perfect example of one that is caught up with console quality?

Something I have noticed when it comes to Social VR is how toxic the community can be within the community. In most cases you do get some good people but you also get those whose sole purpose is to be toxic and ruin the experience for others. When it comes to someone being toxic, how do you handle it in Social VR?

This popped into my head earlier and gave me an idea for a thread. We always see video games made into movies but a movie on a company such as Xbox is not something I have ever seen. Let's say a movie was being produced based on Xbox, who do you feel could play Phil Spencer well?

I always remember when Xbox first introduced achievements, I loved them and being the kind of person who loved a challenge and working towards achievements, this addition was perfect for me. I used to spend a lot of time working towards completing all achievements in a game, using sites such as Xbox Achievements to help me out. When I think about achievements now, I wouldn't say they matter as much as they used to but if I feel I can complete challenges and I am up for challenges, I will go for them. Do Xbox achievements still matter to you?

There are many new Xbox games coming out this year, some of which are going to be worth checking out and others that you may end up passing on. I have been trying to keep up with Xbox releases as of late but due to in real life being hectic, I will admit I do miss a lot of the announcements. When it comes to upcoming Xbox titles that are to be released soon, which title are you most excited about?

I have played many different Xbox games over the years, some of which I love to keep going back to, even now and others I would much rather forget about. When you think back to all the Xbox games you have played in the past, which one did you play that now has you hooked for life? What made the game addictive enough that you are now hooked?

What mobile game has the most engaging “clan” or “guild” system?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
As much as I have not played the game myself, I know of many who have and they always have great things to say about the clan system on the game, that game is Clash of Clans. From what I hear from people who play, it is one of the best clan systems that is highly engaging and those who play it seem to really enjoy the clan system in Clash of Clans. -
I would have to say that high-quality earbuds or headphones and a high-quality backbone controller are the two things that can enhance gaming. A stylus can also enhance gaming on mobile, especially if the game you are playing is difficult to select what you need to when playing the game. There have been numerous times I have selected and moved over the wrong piece in BTS Island ~ In the Seom which leads to me messing up and I know a stylus would work great to prevent that.

I currently have the Samsung A15 that I like to play my games on and it works well enough for me. For any strenuous games though above say Monopoly Go and BTS Island ~ In The Seom, I am not sure how it would perform. I have been looking at the Asus Rog Phone Series. They are quite pricey but worth it if you are looking for a decent phone for gaming.

What mobile game has the most satisfying “victory” animations or effects?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
Out of all the games I have played in which you can be victorious within the game, I would say that Monopoly Go is one game that I feel has satisfying victory animations and I also love that you can use emotes within Monopoly Go to express yourself when attacking other players. -
How do you feel about the preservation of old mobile games?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
I would love to see old mobile games be preserved, they are of course, a part of gaming history even if they are mobile games and I know many would love to go back to them in the future for nostalgia purposes and to also share with their family members and friends. -
As much as I would love to see cross-play between mobile, PC and console, I feel with how that little bit further behind gaming on mobile is at the moment, that creates a big issue for cross-play between all platforms. Cheating would be a issue when it comes to cross-play, especially if games on mobile are not up to date with anti cheats and I also worry about microtransactions as well.

How do you feel about the competitive aspect of mobile gaming?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
The competitive side of gaming at the moment seems to be quite chill compared to competitive gameplay on consoles and PC. I find that many games at the moment don't always offer a competitive side when it comes to their games but for those that do, it does not seem stressful to take part in at all. Pay-to-win on mobile games though could be a real issue when it comes to competitive. -
What mobile accessory has saved you the most time or hassle?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
I would have to say my earbuds and my wireless charger have saved me on numerous occasions when I have been using my phone away from home, especially when I have been using it to play games as they tend to drain my battery quickly. I am still on the lookout for a decent stand for my phone. -
I always find that Nintendo has many challenging levels in their games and as someone who loves a challenge, that is something I have always loved about Nintendo. Whenever I am faced with a challenging level, I find that being persistent and patient and analysing everything including the mistakes I make in the level helps me better my strategy until I am successful.

What aspect of the Donkey Kong series do you think has evolved the most?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Nintendo
When I look back on older Donkey Kong games and look at the newer games now, one thing that jumps out at me that I feel has evolved the most has been the graphics and also the gameplay. The game is still as fun as I remember it being years ago but now has better visuals and gameplay mechanics.
