I would say that the affordable pricing when it comes to Nintendo's handheld consoles has been the main reason that Nintendo has succeeded in emerging markets. Along with access to the fun games they develop and the games that they make that are great for the whole family, both of these together contributed to the success of the handheld consoles from Nintendo.

What’s your favorite way to compete in online leaderboards on Xbox?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Xbox
I haven't played too much Rocket League but I am always hearing from those who play the game, including my son's that the solo standard playlist is perfect if you are looking to better your skills in the game. -
What accessory has most enhanced your gaming comfort on Xbox?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Xbox
I wouldn't say that this accessory has enhanced by gaming comfort on Xbox but it has for my eldest and youngest son and that is the Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller. They have been very happy with this console and how much you can do to customize it to your preferred way of playing games. I am tempted to get myself an Elite Series 2 controller when I have the funds. -
I have to agree with you on Minecraft. The amount of hours that myself and my kids have spent on Minecraft either playing together or playing with friends has been so many I have lost count. I love how with Minecraft you have the option of creative or survival and it is a great game that encourages creativity.

How Can Gaming Communities Better Support Developers?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
I feel that gaming communities could better support developers by not only providing honest feedback and not holding back if they have feedback about the game but by also letting developers know their ideas and what they would like to see in games. Fortnite is a perfect game, the Fortnite gaming community is always passing on ideas and feedback to Epic Games and they tend to listen a lot and that is why we have the game we have now when it comes to Fortnite. -
I last played Monopoly Go and am still playing now. Hoping to do well in this event at the moment so I have enough dice for the partner event that starts today. So far, doing pretty well 🙂

How easy it is for new musicians to make it in music?
Shortie replied to Knight Barida's topic in Music
I do believe that if you are passionate about being a musician and you are willing to work hard and not let the tough times get you down, you can become successful as a new artist. If you go into music as a new artist with the thought that you will blow up quickly, that is when you could become discouraged. -
Do you see Merch selling as a profitable business for musicians?
Shortie replied to Knight Barida's topic in Music
I feel it depends on the musician and how famous they are as to whether selling merch would be profitable for them. You have some artists who are really popular and can make a lot from their merch, and others who tend to sell their merch slow or even not at all meaning they do not make a profit. -
At the moment I am currently listening to Otsukare by Yoongi and J-Hope of BTS. Such a great song, upbeat and keeps me motivated 🙂

You are not overthinking at all. Rap has definitely been watered down compared to how it used to be in the 2000s and it does a lot of the time feel weird to listen to, even sometimes something we don't tend to listen to due to what is being rapped about either.

I have always enjoyed movies that touch on universal themes such as love, loss and hope. A lot of the time when you go through certain periods in your life involving, love, loss and hope, sometimes it can feel as though it's new and you are the only person going through it. When you see it portrayed in movies, it can give that sense of hope and realization that people do go through these things and you are not on your own.

What's your favorite MS OFFICE application?
Shortie replied to Ja sa bong's topic in Technology & Gadgets
My favourite MS application would have to be Microsoft Word. Due to my line of work and how much I tend to use Microsoft Word, I could not be without it now and find it so much more convenient, especially when I am drafting up work. -
Do you use ChatGPT more than Google now?
Shortie replied to Ja sa bong's topic in Technology & Gadgets
When I think about how much I use ChatGPT at the moment and compare it to how much I used to use Google before I knew about ChatGPT, I will admit, I do use ChatGPT a lot more than I use Google. I do still on the odd occasion use Google but ChatGPT seems to be more of my go-to now for most things. -
How do you make sure you’re taking breaks during work?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I have always been terrible at ensuring that I take regular breaks. I work from home and it can be so easy to get yourself focused and busy, that you can forget to get up and take regular breaks which are essential, no matter what line of work you are in. I now find that setting an alarm on my phone for a set time and sticking to that alarm and taking a break of around 15 minutes or half an hour, even an hour for lunch has helped me. -
What’s a habit you would like to pass on to others?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
Taking time out for myself and not feeling guilty about doing so is one habit I have started getting myself into and I am getting better at. I always used to find that I was doing so much for everyone else and forgetting about myself and needing time for myself, and that often led to burnout which took a while for me to get over. -
Do you prefer quiet rainy days or energetic, sunny ones?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I much prefer quiet, rainy days as opposed to hectic, energetic sunny ones. In the UK where I live, when we get sunshine, especially in spring and summer, it tends to be really sticky and humid and that is no fun being out and about in when it is busy or I am very busy. I have always loved the quiet days, indoors and I love to hear the rain hit off the window as well, I find that great for relaxation. -
I have so many different things I enjoy doing away from my work but I will admit, I am terrible at balancing multiple hobbies at the same time. I am often greeted with having to make a decision on which hobby I want to take part in today but due to me not having a lot of time to take part in most hobbies, that can leave me faced with a difficult decision.

Do you prefer cozying up in a blanket or exploring the outdoors?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
Due to being very anxious, I have found that I find more comfort staying in doors when I can and cosying up in a blanket, watching my favourite movies or TV shows and just enjoying the peace and quiet. I especially enjoy cosying up in a blanket at home when it is raining. The sound of rain hitting the window can be very relaxing. -
Do you prefer a high-energy atmosphere or a calm, relaxed vibe?
Shortie replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I have always found that being in a calm and relaxed environment is where I am most productive. I have found that if I am in a place where it is quite busy, loud and crazy, I can easily get stressed and become anxious. If I am ever found in a busy and loud place, I am always thankful to end up back in a quiet and calm atmosphere. -
At the moment I tend to use free ways to advertise, at least until I have a bigger budget to be able to pay for advertising. I advertise on both X and BlueSky at the moment and I have found that my advertising posts seem to get more traction on BlueSky than on Twitter or X as it is now known. Facebook I have not used in a long while for advertising but I do hear a lot of good things about advertising on Facebook.

I don't work away from home but when I did before my anxiety became a lot worse like it is now, I would work away from home but due to me being shy, I would always talk only if I needed to until I got to know someone a lot better. I feel now if I were to work with people away from home, I would probably struggle to socialize with my co-workers unless I had to.

I always used to be someone who used to use a mix of cash and card before the COVOD-19 pandemic but since 2020 and when everything changed, I now much prefer to use card only and tend to use my phone and Google Pay for all my purchases now. I find using card to be more convenient and even safer, at least I know I can't lose money if it is all in my bank.
